If you want a great course to play, play Grand Niagara
What a great time we had at Grand Niagara. As soon as I stepped out of the car I was met with a friendly smile and the service was great. Course was in great shape and played very well. If you are in the Niagara area you have to play this course.
Thanks.
Best course in the Niagara Region
This is the best course you will play in the Niagara Region in terms of layout and conditions.
This course has a great flow to it and does not punish good shots like some over designed course. The best course in Niagara
Staff are friendly and attentive. The course is challenging but the setting is pastoral and relaxing. Pricing varies and can be expensive but bargains can be had. Always a value and a memorable course to host clients or friends
A must play in Niagara region.
From the back tees this course in a whopping 7400 yards. Like many R. Jones courses, there are bunkers everywhere and plenty of water. Greens were fast and rolled true. Conditions were fantastic even for a late day, late in the season round. One of the nicest courses I have played. A variety on stunning looks off of the tee make this a true challenge. A fair price for this quality of service. Plus, there are deals to be had.
The course has challenges on every hole.
This is a difficult course but has tee levels for all skills. With the abundance of water, sand and trees it meant that every shot needed to be calculated to stay safe. I enjoyed the variety of layouts on the holes so that each one seemed quite different from the other and made it very interesting to play.
Beautiful Course
Drove from toronto last week for the last best day (24 degrees and sunny) of the season, Oct. 14, I think. Course is designed beautifully and offers lots of diverse, challenging holes. I hope there will be some good deals next year, as this was an end of season one, and it has to be worth it to drive the hour+ to get there.
The Premier Course within 100 miless
Get over the green fees and take the plunge to golf the premier golf course within 100 miles. I have never golfed at a course with such impeccable conditions. Every tee box was 100% level front to back, left to right, the greens were pristine, and the staff treated me with respect and made me feel that they genuinely were happy to have my business.
This was one of the 7 rounds of golf I played during my week long Golf "Stay-cation", and it takes the cake. I will certainly be visiting this course again next year, hopefully more than just once.
If you live in Niagara, or are just visiting, and consider yourself a golfer, there is NO REASON not to golf here.
Great- but pricey
Great course. A challenge from any tee block but the firm and fast fairways make it play a little shorter than the card. Greens have a clearly identifiable short (you're dead) side and a bail out side. Too pricey at the rack rate.
one word: magnificent
From tee to green this course was in outstanding condition. The staff was very friendly and helpful. All in all it was probably the best golf outing of my season.
Overrated
I was quite disappointed with Grand Niagara. Many people told me this was the best course in Niagara Falls, I guess that may be correct, however compared to golf courses in general it is definitely overrated. The clubhouse was a big disappointment, although nicely done inside, outside structure was an eye sore. The track itself is decent but in my opinion not worth over $60, I'd rather play Thundering Waters.
Best course in Niagara!
Great layout with a combination of a few links and lots of park style holes through the forest. Bar none some of the the best greens I`ve played on fast and true rolls. Played it twice this season look out for a hot deal best bang for your buck.
Resort golf
This course has been open 5 years. From day 1 it has been in immaculate shape. Wide fairways (I can't hit) elavated par 3's, every hole has both fairway bunkers and bunkers strategically guarding the greens. There is a lot of water throughout the course requiring carefully placed tee shots. I was fotunate to play this course on opening day and I look forward to playing it every chance I get. This is one of Niagaras finest.
Great Conditions
This course is a moderate to challenging layout that is always in pristine condition. I have had the chance to play it a few times now and it is one of my favourites. The staff is friendly and it is definitely worth the money.
Great Course
The best course in the Niagara region. Excellent layout and overall course condition
