Grand Niagara Golf Club

This course doesn't appear on the "Top ###" list for no reason, this is hands down the most immaculate course in Niagara.

Pros:

> The Staff

> The Tee Boxes (all are level and lush)

> The Fairways (as green as a Crayola crayon)

> The Greens (healthy, in great condition, minimal ball marks, true, fast and CHALLENGING)

Cons:

> Some bunkers are in need of some TLC

> New yardage book. I liked the old yardage book that had 1 hole / page, not this current version which has a higher focus on advertising than customer assistance.

> Stopped for a burger after finishing our 1st round and before starting our 2nd round of the day. Price a bit steep for a burger ($11). I pay premium green fees if the course is quality conditions, and the same goes for food. I just don't think the burger and fries were worth $11. The staff are phenomenal though. She even gave me tips on the Olympic Rugby match on tv.

Pace of play seems to be slower than average. Course is in great condition. Challenging but fair course.

The condition was excellent.....too bad it was only 9 holes. Greens were perfect.

Booked a time on a rainy day and when we got there we were the only car in the lot other than the Pro/starter. Rain stopped on first hole and had the course to ourselves! The nine holes must have great drainage because no puddles anywhere. Course is very well maintained, new carts, five tee decks for all levels. Small food/deck area but golf course is excellent!

Layout, course condition and staff all 10 out of 10.

By far the best golf course in the Niagara Region!

Disappointed when we arrived that the course is now only 9 holes, we played it 4 years ago and it was a beautiful 18 hole course. Its a shame because it was a wonderful golf course to play before eliminating 9 holes.

This place almost doesn’t make sense. You pull up to a couple trailers and a rough looking parking lot. There’s a small practice screen and no driving range just a net to hit into. Then there’s the course… What a remarkable layout and conditions. As good as anywhere I’ve ever played with staff constantly maintaining it. We played at 10 o’clock in the morning on a Friday and saw no one almost the entire round. The greens were immaculate, the fairways were pristine and the bunkers were incredible. I think we played for $25 with a cart on the GolfNow app. If you are anywhere near this place you need to play it

Best greens in Niagara for public course.

My son and I were looking to play a quick 9 holes on our way from Buffalo to Toronto. This course was a perfect choice. It wasn't crowded, so we finished in under two hours. The course was honestly one of the nicest that I have played in years. It felt as if were at a private country club. Unfortunately, we do not live in the area, but we will absolutely return next summer if we are able to.

The club was closed when I arrived there. I said I paid, they said thats between me and golf now. I will need a.refund as we did not play that day
