Legends on the Niagara is home to several entertaining golf courses that appeal to players of all skill levels, This unique complex is home to two championship golf courses, a nine-hole course, and a unique 18-hole putting course. The Battlefield Course is one of the 18-hole, championship courses, so named because of the facility's location on the hallowed grounds of the legendary Battle of Chippewa during the War of 1812. The layout features an impressive man-made lake that spans nearly 20 acres and comes into play on at least four holes. The 13th hole is particularly notable for its spectacular view of Niagara Falls in the distance.

Good test, fun tack
the NF parks have a winner here with these courses. Battlefield has a great layout and design. the greens had decent speed, role well, and had some tough pin positions. the only knock is the fairways,they are beat up. not sure if our neighbors to the north know how to fix divots.
Great time
We had a great time - arrived early and were able to get out a little ahead of our tee time - course employees couldn't help us enough. Course was in great condition. Went out just after a tournament was finishing - so no delays or hold ups - took us 3 hours to do 18 holes. Looking forwarding to returning.

Service poor course good
Service on course was terrible. The service cart we saw only once on front 9 and again once on back nine on 17 hole. Supposedly they had 3 carts working.Where were they hiding? Especially when it took 6 hours to play 18. Many people left course on back 9 because of pace of play. Which was making them late for commitments after golf.
Which was a shame. Course is very good and enjoyed playing it. Except for pace of play and cart service

Marshall needed
course has generous landing areas. even a 22 handicapper like myself managed 14 of 16 fairways hit.
One drawback, there was no marshall the day we played We waited on every tee and every fairway from tee # 2 on.... the group in front of us would not even acknowledge us, never mind let us through... they had to have 5 open holes in front of them by the time they were done... It was an excruciatingly painful round of golf.
Sorry to hear about the slow play. We'll address the marshal concern, thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Beautiful course
This is my second time playing battlefield. I love this course because it's so challenging. A few holes have wide fairways and others have a ton of bunkers. I booked on golf now for $32, so obviously I got my money's worth. I'll definitely come back.

Legends Battlefield Golf course
Great course.. quite picturesque.. quite challenging.
Great club house... very modern. Many amenities and tourist attractions nearby... about 5 miles from Niagara Falls... Casino nearby

Good value
This is a nice track to play and a good operation. Fairways are wide and greens large so bring your A game for approach putts. Course conditions were good for a late spring round. You can see, however, the evidence of cost-cutting going on as there are bunkers (mostly fairway ones) around the course left in an unfinished state.
All in all, I would come back and bring my buddies.

Great Spring Conditions
Battlefield is very challenging course with and good mix of bunkers and water hazards.
Great spring condition with only a few of the many bunkers traps left to groom.
Even had a beverage card out on a Wed afternoon in April.

Legends Battlefield
Early in the season conditions. Fairways good though. Greens a little bumpy due to aerification in previous fall. Pace of play slow due to 5-some two groups ahead who would not allow anyone through.
Where are the rangers?
Sorry to hear the group ahead didn't allow you to play through. We hope you'll be back again to enjoy our course conditions. They are improving everyday and the green speeds will be top notch within a few weeks.

great round of golf weather was not so good ...cold ... very friendly ...only problem ""NO"" BEVERAGE CART......course condition was excellent ... will definately be back

Great April conditions
Course is in excellent shape for this time of year. Greens are understandably slow but rolling true. Sand traps were in mid season form. Some difficult and interesting par 3's, a couple par 4's will seem a tad redundant, wide open course with not a lot of trouble if you roll of the fairways. If you want a good challenge back it up to the blues and play it from 6900 yards.

This was my second time playing this course and I love it! Plenty of challenges but also a very fair course!

Long but fair
We played at the end of the season so the conditions were not the best.It had great potential though.Very links style with marsh land and few trees.Somewhat open but long.Over 7000 from the tips.Played with my wife and it is not a course to be enjoyed by most women.You have to be able to carry long second or third shots to hit a remote green guarded by water. Not a short hitters course.

the course was in excellent shape Niagara Parks is a golf course owned by the Government of Ontario as part of the overall Niagara Parks and as such it seems money and manpower is no problem they keep it in awesome shape
