Legends on the Niagara Golf Course - Battlefield

Ussher's Creek continues to impress. Great layout. Excellent conditioning. Great value. Best part, we played as a twosome and did not get paired up. I would recommend this course to anyone.

Fairways, greens, bunkers all pristine, overall course is immaculate

Course was in great condition , layout was fun and challenging with some memorable holes, can't wait to go back.

Excellent course, but difficult. for us not so good golfers, wish the white tees were further up. Also some Pins on the green were tucked in the corner back almost illegal to put pin there. Bunkers are really deep, and too many. Golf is a tough game. Does the course have to be difficult. Common. Lets make the game enjoyable for the average player.

The course was a pleasure to play. Very friendly staff. Very large fairways and greens. The only thing that was a bit of an inconvenience is the parking. It's awkward to drop the clubs and park a fair distance away. The driving range is even further so we didn't bother. Otherwise a great course. Wide open and fair.

So after I played Battlefield in under 2 1/2 hours I went to play Ussher's Creek next. Starter snuck me in quick. I passed the first group of the round on 3. Very nice course, easier then Battlefield I think. Conditions of course were very good. All staff at course were amazing and the people golfing on the course were very good about letting me play through as a single. Some other courses you never know who you are gonna get out there. I ended up playing through 10 groups during this round and everyone was more then willing to let me play through. I never asked once or encroached on them. It was actually a small tournament that I played through one group told me. Due to this pace of play was amazing. I had 36 holes done before noon. Both courses excellent value and well worth it. I will be playing here again for sure! Thanks again to the starter that saved me a ton of time.

Had an 8:12 tee off time. Got to course almost an hour early to check out the place as have never been there before and also hit range and putt. Very nice pro shop at check in. Went and talked to starter to ask where range was and he informed me I was paired up with a 3 some. He asked if I was ok with that or if I wanted to go as a single. I asked when could I get out if I went as a single and he said right now so skip the range if I wanted, I would be first out on the course. How could I pass that up. He told group that was ready to go to first tee that I was going in front of them. Very nice course. Generous and some tougher holes on it. As I was on the 18th green the group that I was supposed to be with was just getting to the ninth green. I played in under 2 1/2 hours. Asked starter how busy they were if I wanted to play some more. He said he would fit me in quick once I went into pro shop. 33.00 for replay rate, great deal. I played Ussher's Creek for second round, I will review that course also. Battlefield is the tougher of the 2 courses I think, was in great shape. Like title says I will be back for sure

beautiful course would consider playing again, look out for all the feces on the 18th hole. This golf course has a lot of bunkers.

Excellent course. First class facilities. Beautiful clubhouse and restaurant/bar. Very friendly staff. Ussher's Creek course was in fabulous shape. Hude driving range, chipping and putting practice area. Got a good deal on Golfnow. Would play here every day if I could!

Generous fairways. Even offline hits can be found. Large greens sometimes need extra club.

We were surprised how fast the greens were in the rain.. Great game for playing in the rain...

Great course, but they always over water the fairways. Had my ball plug a few times, and there has been no rain for days. Otherwise it's a great facility.

I booked battlefield and they put me out on ushers creek. Very disappointing.

This is a great course, make sure You stay on the fairway cause there is no much space between the second cut and out of bounce in many of the holes. The greens are fast, like putting on glass. I played early in the morning, 7:30A.M. there was a big tournament at 12, so I had nobody in front or behind me, I felt like I was playing on my own Golf Course.

Greens, Fairways and tee boxes all in great shape, Fairways are so soft, so not much roll but so nice to hit from, plenty of well placed bunkers with proper sand, 9th and 18th are a real pleasure to view heading back to clubhouse, love this course and love golf now. Don't forget to fix your ball marks on greens.

The course is very flat but made interesting with the trees and sand traps.All in all it was a good experience.

Staff was great and course in excellent condition.

The only reason my review is not higher is that the greens had been aerated making putting difficult. The fairways were also soaked causing a lot of plugged shots. However the course was very well maintained. We played 18 holes in a little over 3 hours.

Course was aerated a week earlier so we were able to get on for under $40. Regular cost $110.
This course is a real pleasure to play in the Niagara region. I would slightly put it behind Grand Niagara only because of greens conditions. They both have similar challenging course layouts with water on some holes and many bunkers on all holes !

The course was in great shape - greens were fast and the fairway was lush. Pace of play was a little slow - 4:40 round. Two or three holes with trouble in front of the green forces the short hitter to lay up on par 4's.
