Legends on the Niagara Golf Course - Battlefield

Weather was perfect for a great round of golf. This seems to be one of the better courses in the Niagara area. Well laid out (but I wouldn't try to walk the course). While the course is quite flat, there are enough challenges to make it a good test of skills. Good combination of links style and trees. Greens were just aerated, so were not in the best condition (but still quite fast and true). I would definitely go back.

This course is an excellent test of golf!!! There are a ton of bunkers which come into play both off the tee and on approach shots. The conditions were nothing short of immaculate! Tee through green you could tell that attention was paid to every detail. This course is in private country club condition! I would highly reccomend Battlefield to anyone looking to test their overall game and every club in your bag! Great round, great course!

although the course was soaked due to excessive rain, it was beautiful and well maintained. it si a very challenging course for all golfers of all levels. the rate was excellent for the time of day and I can't wait to play it again.

I recommend this to anyone visiting the Niagara region great course well kept.

Awesome course good shape!! But some odd reasons could not make puts I blame it on the greens being too good lol awesome up keep love it!!!

Great conditions, especially he greens, which run true and consistent. You'll likely see breaks that just aren't there, so don't borrow too much. Holes are well designed, but not much variety. Lots of fairway bunkers, but easy to avoid.

Very slow, but never saw a marshall after the first tee.

Excellent practice facilities.

awesome course, a little bit wet because of the rain but it was drying pretty fast, great experience on this Canadian golf course, play very long but beautiful greens

If there is one course that I would label as the player's course in Niagara; Battlefield would be it easily hands down. This is a course that enables you many options off the tee and greenside play, furthermore, it doesn't favour one type of player but a sharp short game and steady putting is a high premium.

The only blemish I can comment on the course is that fairways in wedge range are full of divots.

We had an early tee time on a Friday morning and we were the second group out. The starters told us we could go when we were ready which was nice because there wasn't anyone pushing us from behind. The course was in excellent shape as usual.We played from the white tees which was challenging enough for our group. Next time we play we will try Ushers Creek. Thanks for a great day of golf

A fun round of golf and the course was in great condition.We had a 1230 tee of and were allowed to go off a hour earlier which was greatly appreciated.Will definetly play here again

The course was fun to play. Played the entire 18 hole round without running into another group which is a great feeling. The hole locations for our round were very challenging.

The course was in great condition and it requires that you be able to work and place your ball in order to get in good scoring positions. The staff were great but they were not on top of slow groups. We were a group of two riding and it took us almost 5 hours to play - though I would place most of that blame on the group in front of us. We would wait for them on every tee even after we slow our play purposely. Other than that I will definitely be back.

We were looking forward to playing this course and it was in good condition and well worth the money we paid, however, being the long weekend it was very clear the course was out to make as much money as possible by cramming in as many golfers on the course as possible. Its understandable everyone wants to take advantage of getting on the course again in the Spring but 5 1/2 hours to play 18 holes was ridiculous. We literally waited at every tee for at least 5 minutes and sometimes longer before we could tee off. Then we would have to wait again on the fairway before we could continue playing each hole. Several times there would be a group on the green, a group mid point on the fairway and another group at the tee when we would arrive to play each hole. Although the price was good, I doubt I would go back for fear we would face another 5 or 6 hour game.

It must have been the cool temperatures, but when I arrived for my 10:09 tee time, the course was deserted. I usually come early and take advantage of the excellent driving range. I arrived at 8:30 and when I saw there were few players I asked if I could go out early. The staff were very friendly and said go ahead. The starter told me there was a group about 15 minutes ahead of me. I took my time and caught them on the 3rd hole and they let me play through on the Par 3. After that I had the whole course to myself. It was in excellent condition and
I was able to get my round in. I could play at a leisurely pace and the weather warmed up to a great golfing temperature. I have played both Ushers creek and Battlefield several times but my playing partner had a knee replaced on the previous day. I plan on playing here again.
Also I like to "Play it forward" and like a 6000 yard distance. I played 1,2,4, 9, 12, 18 from the Red Tees and the rest from the Whites, that is exactly 6010 yds. I had to work that out ahead of time on my own at home. I think more courses should adopt the hybrid style card. Several of the Florida courses I play have them and they are great for Seniors who still have a little game left.
A very enjoyable day for sure.

Course was in very good shape...rough is tough. Staff was excellent, got us out a little earlier than booked time.

Rates for pre high season very good value and worth the 1 hour drive from Oakville.
Fairways are in decent shape, greens are still only medium, not up to mid season speed.

Course is a great course for all levels.
Fairways and greens at this of of year were excellent.
Bunkers were a little damp.
Need Marshals to ride around more to keep golfers
at a steady pace.

The Legends Ussher's Creek course offers excellent value for a challenging and diverse round of golf. From the blue tees the course is about 6600 yds and provides a challenge to new and experienced golfers alike.
There are sufficient hazards to test you but the fairways and greens are, for the most part, easily accessed with a good shot. There is an excellent mix of tree lined and open fairways and greens that will offer you the chance to test your skill reading the breaks.
It's a great round of golf on a sunny day!

Course was good but greens were a bit slow. Im used to playing fast greens
