Royal Vista Golf Club

Hole 1 on the south course is unplayable. The lake between 123 holes on the south 9 is overflowing causing massive damage and should be closed. The long rain days have left the south side unplayable because of the massive overgrown fairways and the edges. However the greens were spectacular. I lost 6 balls that were plugged in 8 to ten inches of wet grass. After the spectacle of the south 9 we were treated to the east 9 and some simialance to golf. They will be punching very soon and these awsome greens will be epic in May. I will be back in May and do a follow up review. 5 somes should be outlawed and pace of play should be expected but not here...food was really good and the range was clean bur needs some work on the field of range play. Overall...it will be better in May

Pretty good course. Fairways torn up from all the rain though. Very friendly staff. Amenities are okay. Pace of play wasn’t great, but that was due to a slow group. Didn’t seem systemic.

Would play here again, but hopefully in the spring or summer.

I booked a tee time for 8:15am Friday morning. Ended up asking for a refund before teeing off because they let the really old men's club tee off two at a time so we weren't going to tee off til after 9am. Instead of allowing the two of us to tee off at the north or south course first, they wanted us to wait until the men's club were done taking their sweet time. What a joke.

Friendly staff, very flexible working around part of the group late due to traffic. Green fee was reasonable and the course conditions were slightly better than average even with the heavy play . Pace was a little slow, but groups would let you play thru. I didn't see any marshals patrolling the course. Figure on a 4.5 to 5.0 hours round.

Course played well. Maintenance with fairways could be tighter. Greens played true and rolled.

First I have to commend the maintenance crew, staff and the new superintendent for making this golf course come back to life. I have not played this course for a long time due to overall bad conditions. Recently I’ve heard a lot of changes and some good conditions on this golf course. The golf course came back to life as I described it in the beginning. Thank you and keep up the good work

I've got tee-time 12:45 pm by online.

Total $72.00 (2 player) and paid green fee $2.00

Due at course $70.00

But...But, when I get the proshop check in, he wants me to pay $86.00 to play not $70.00

I use "Tee-Off" every week to make reservations, but this is the first time, and it was very unpleasant.

I wanted to come back, but I had to pay the money and play because I didn't want to spoil other player mood.

If this price is not right, I think I should get a refund.

And, I sincerely hope that there will be no more cases like me at the Royal Vista golf course.

Apparently there was a tournament going on on East/North course but it was painfully slow paying behind them and we only were able to finish 6 holes in 2 1/2 hours. Not wanting to wait on every hole, we moved to South after playing 9 holes on East. I think South was an abanonded course without any signs of maintenance besides greens. Also 18 hole was missing a flag so we had no idea where the hole was. There were seveal banners hang on nearby homes that read "Save Royal Vista Golf Course". I hate to see another golf course being closed for a development but maybe this course is inevitable, at least if no improvement is made.

My son and I got caught behind the slowest foursome of all time. Nearly 2 hours to play 4 holes! We didn’t have the patience to continue so we left early and had a beer in the restaurant, which was the highlight of the day.

I think they over sold plus super slow play made for a terrible time on the course. No Marshall to come speed things up. Brutal.

I would play this course again, but wouldn’t donut on the weekend or would play early enough to where I could stand a 6 hour round of golf!,
