Need to stay on the fairways ...
Overall was great day, fairways a little dry. Rough is very long. Can’t locate balls.
slow play
I had a tee time of 10:40 yesterday with three other guys. We actually started at 10:30. We thought we could finish by 3. Wrong!
It was very slow. No marshals on course anywhere. One of my group left after 9 hole at 1:15 and other 2 left at 14th hole at three and I left at 3:25 at 16th hole.
There were not many people on the course and seems like nobody care about the pace of play.
Very rough
The rough is outrageous at this course gonoff the fairway even two inches and your losing your ball
Always have a good time
Havnt played here for 5 years living in Brampton but if theres a long drive im willing to make its to play this course, absolutely love it, my neighbours first time and he loved it too
a cool day in november
Very impressed by the condition given the time of year. Saw a number of staff out on the course which surprised me given the time of day and time of season.
Will definitely go back, greens were outstanding!!!
Just play
While it was a rainy day the course was in super shape. Probably the best greens I've played all season.
Best price paid for a Moote designed course
A first time player .A quality golf course designed by Moote (alias Stanley Thompson).Good driving range and practice green. The course conditions were very good for this time of year and the large greens were smooth. No indication that they were punched. Very well presented par 3's .Two weak par 4's dog leg left-not much one can do with them. Bunkers were wet but were playable. You don't have to use Driver on some of the par 5's ie #18.#1 and #10 two difficult holes to start both nines. Looking forward to playing a second time .
Sept. 23 The Oaks of St. George
Enjoyed the round very much. The course was in great condition. The only suggestion I would make is to pave the cart paths. Other than that I have no complaints.
A scenic beauty
We both thought the course was very well set up. There some very good challenges with the position of some of the more mature trees. A lot of dog legs left which was a difficulty for someone who has a prevalent left to right shot. Greens and the whole course were in excellent shape. The traps were difficult to play out of with the sand quite compact very close to the surface. Staff were very friendly. That is a must if you are going to drive an hour and a half to play a course. The only problem is the drive to the course
