Repeat Player
I commended a few of the grounds crew and the head pro on the excellent conditions of the course on 11/8/23. The greens are back and in wonderful condition as well as the tee boxes and fairways. This summer kicked everybody's butts but they have worked very hard to get the conditions back to where they are. The only issue is the bunkers need some work but one thing at a time. The staff were all very friendly and professional. Great job to all !!!
Fall
With cooler conditions the course is in great shape. Greens are good, just don't over read the breaks.

u000007055546, thank you for your kind words! We hope to see you again at the course very soon for another 5-star experience. Thanks for choosing The Golf Club at Texas A&M.
Out to play
Had the opportunity to play. Check in was a breeze and friendly staff. Teamed up with a friendly fellow, only wish there had been another. A bit slow with people looking for balls. If you are in the rough areas you'll probably find a few balls. They won't be yours, but might be enough to get them through the round. Face it after a while just drop and move on. Perfect weather these days so get out and play.

Wow! We are so happy you enjoyed your round, u000007055546! We look forward to seeing you again soon at The Golf Club at Texas A&M.
Game day
Alabama was in town for the game. Thought it would be crowded, not this day. Teamed up with some fellows as I lost two players to illness. Great guys and enjoyed the day. Conditions were perfect and 90° rule in effect. After the rain I was surprised. Course was in great shape, except for the bunkers which looked like small ponds. Don't get in that and it's not a problem. Greens were soft yet fast. See ya'll next time.

Thank you for leaving a review of our golf course. We apologize for the condition of the bunkers, but we're glad you enjoyed the day and the other aspects of the course. We hope to see you again soon!

Aggieland Course
Great course. Better shape than expected for being in a drought. Greens were super fast!!
Gnarly thick Bermuda rough in many areas. Many, many sand traps, but most were easily escapable. Glad to have had the chance to play here.
Super friendly staff- but I expected nothing less from Aggies. From beginning to end all staff, including the greens staff was super friendly and helpful.
Look forward to coming back again.

Thank you for taking the time to review us, HAL98. Your feedback is valuable, and we look forward to delivering you excellent service again soon. The Golf Club at Texas A&M thanks you!
Best course around
I’ve played every course in the area and surrounding areas and this course is hands down in the best shape of any course I’ve played in the last 6 months during this drought with no rain. They shut the course down for a few weeks not too long ago and that was an amazing decision with how this greens and fairways have repaired back to awesome playing conditions! Easy choice when it comes to going out to play!

We love hearing about our golfers' experiences, u936363918. Please tell us more about what you enjoyed during your round. Thanks for choosing The Golf Club at Texas A&M!
Nice Course In Good Condition
Overall, a good course, decent green fees. A few holes kind of tricky. Greens & fairways in very good condition, especially considering the drought. Friendly staff, clubhouse is decent.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review of our golf course, Paul. We appreciate your feedback and apologize for any challenges you encountered on a few of the holes. We are pleased to hear that you found our course in good condition, despite the drought, and that our staff and clubhouse met your expectations.
Great fun! Love the layout.
This course is the public course in the Bryan/College Station area. Fun to play, a good number of golfers. It’s a little busier when school is in session but great course.

Expensive but a fun way to start off the day before the game!
I met up with some old friends for a round before the game, surprisingly, on game day, the play was rather quick, we finished our round in ~3.5 hours with plenty of time to make it to the game!

Summer golf
It hot, the ball will roll for days. The efforts by the ground crew is paying off. Greens are coming back into shape. Don't over read the break. Take plenty of water or impose on the cart girls. It really worth playing again.

Thanks so much for the great review, u000007055546. We look forward to welcoming you back to our course soon. Thanks for choosing The Golf Club at Texas A&M.
Greens are recovering despite Texas heat
Greens 1 & 9 are recovering and are playable with only a few places still mending.

Greens
The effort to restore the greens is paying off. Greatly improved and grass is growing. Treat them gently, need to get back into shape. Staff is great and always seem to get paired with nice players. Makes for a fun time on the links.

This course was nice but not in great condition
The greens had huge patches that comprised of patches that were recently placed and they weren’t very nice. One staff member was not very kind or understanding but everyone else was very nice.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We apologize for the condition of the greens and for any negative interaction you had with one of our staff members. We appreciate your feedback and will use it to improve our service. Thanks for choosing The Golf Club at Texas A&M.
Greens need work
The greens are in horrible shape right now. They should let players know before they pay for their round as many were unputtable. Greens on the back 9 were better but extremely still extremely slow and bumpy.

We apologize for the poor conditions of the greens during your visit and any inconvenience it caused. We appreciate your feedback and will make sure to address this issue to provide a better experience for our customers in the future. Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review.
Greens just can’t seem to mend
For the past two months, the greens have been slowly repairing. #s 1and 9 are particularly not cooperating in the repair efforts. Other greens that originally looked worse are healing. It’s just sad that these two greens are fighting a losing battle. Even when the greens had frozen a few years ago - they recovered. I know Tim and his crew are doing what they can. The summer heat will not help.

We are sorry to hear that you have experienced issues with the repair of the greens, especially holes #1 and #9. We appreciate your understanding of our efforts to address the situation, particularly considering the challenges posed by the summer heat. Thank you for bringing this to our attention and for your continued support.
Conditions Horrible
The greens suffer from what I assume is winter damage. There are numerous greens in which over fifty percent of the green is bare sand.
The bunkers are hard packed mud.
Overall, this course is barely playable and certainly not for paying full price.

We apologize for the condition of the greens and bunkers during your visit. We appreciate your feedback and will work to address these issues. Thank you for sharing your experience with us.
