Mill Run Golf Club - Championship Wheel/Grind Course
About
Nestled among the rolling hills surrounding Uxbridge, which is just 40 minutes from downtown Toronto, Mill Run Golf Club offers 27 holes of championship golf and also an 18-hole, executive course. The championship holes are divided into three distinct nines that are played in three different 18-hole combinations. The Wheel/Grind Course is heavily forested with many elevation changes throughout. The back nine, the Grind, is Mill Run Golf Club's newest layout and it is also the shortest of the three. Although it is shorter in length, towering trees and doglegs incorporated into its layout demand accurate shot-making in order to do well.

absolutely worth the drive!!!!!!
Great course, just challenging enough while also being just forgiving enough. Fairways are in very good condition and greens are immaculate. Beautiful course that I would highly recommend. No complaints at all.
very understanding staff
played as a single. got paired up with people I would not enjoy playing with. Spoke with Chris and he arranged for me to play with another group. Thanks Chris, you are the best. will play again soon
nice filed for iron accuracy exercise
nice place for your iron accuracy exercise for green attack, especially for Blue flag
One of the nicest courses out there..
I like Mil Run and the possibility to spend some time playing golf, have a nice dinner afterwards. The course is always in a good condition. I dont know why, but here I am losing always a lot of balls. But it is really fun to play and the staff is always super friendly.
Not bad, not great
First time player of the course. The price ended up being a little high considering that we were led to believe that we'd be playing the "Championship" course. What that actually means is that you'll play the two nines that they feel like you'll play that day.
The course is in good shape. The fairways were smooth and the greens rolled well. Their back shop is quite helpful and an easy drive from Toronto.
Be careful though; typing "Millrun" in to Google Maps defaulted to a course called Fox Run that is near by. I was lucky to catch that. (Obviously not the courses' fault!).
Overall, I had a good day at their course, but I think you can get a better value at other courses in and around Toronto. Saying that, though, I'd play this course again.
Good course
Mill Run Golf club is fix for the moderate and above golfer to play. The green fee is reasonable.
Will go back again for sure.
good value and fun to play
good value and fun to play will play next time again
nice course
fairways well maintained and some challenging greens
Slow Pace
Beautiful course and conditions. Only drawback was the pace of play, the marshall gave us some info on the holes we where playing, yet did nothing about the slow play in front of us.When we got to the 3rd hole, there where 2 groups in front of us , still waiting to tee off. Very poorly Managed
It's a fun course!
The course are well maintain. It's fun to play, you need good course management at this place.
Mill Run GC - Wheel & Grind
Good course for the money. Was very suprised at my recent visit that even after a rainstorm the greens were fast. The course layout is fairly straightforward, with 2-3 holes were the golfer has to think what line to take. I would suggest a cart if playing the Grind 9 holes as there are some long walks between holes. The great thing about the course if that every club is used in the bag and on some holes less than driver is advisable, incl Par 5's.
An enjoyable day
Nice day on the golf course. Good conditions. It would be tough to walk as the distance between green and tee was quite a lot for some holes.
Good golf outing
Overall a nice "golf outing." Easy and wide fairways with some bunkers and water to make the play interesting. Pro Shop/registration staff is not too friendly, though we are there to golf but he could spoil the start of your day.
A nice mix
We played the Wheel & Grind 9's. They are both quite challenging with interesting layouts. Club selection is key as it's rarely good to just bomb it.
We both enjoyed the course and will definitely play again. Walking is not recommended because of the distance from the green to the next tee on a number of holes.
Challenging - wheel/grind
Just played Wheel/Grind. Golf course is in excellent condition. Grind 9 is one of my favourite to play, I get to use all 14 clubs in my bag. Affordable and is short drive from the city.
The staff at Mill Run are amazing as well.
Really enjoy playing and would recommend to my friends. Looking forward to seeing/playing Mill Run more often.
Forgiving fairways
Great course, hot dog stand was very convenient after 9 holes, fairways were relatively wide, overall had a great time and will definitely go back.
perfect day at Mill Run
We teed off around 1PM after the morning leagues and course was almost empty. Did 18 holes in 3.5 hours. Beatifull balance between challenge and openness to drive the ball. Greens in excellent condition.
Andy
One of my faves!
I love Millrun, staff are friendly, the 3 Nines are different and typically in great condition! Mill run has always been one of my favourite courses! I would recommend it but I don't want it getting toooo busy for me to play!! ;)
The course is in great shape.
Pretty slow. Tee off groups were sent to tee of too close or players were very slow.
