Mill Run Golf Club - Championship Wheel/Grind Course
About
Nestled among the rolling hills surrounding Uxbridge, which is just 40 minutes from downtown Toronto, Mill Run Golf Club offers 27 holes of championship golf and also an 18-hole, executive course. The championship holes are divided into three distinct nines that are played in three different 18-hole combinations. The Wheel/Grind Course is heavily forested with many elevation changes throughout. The back nine, the Grind, is Mill Run Golf Club's newest layout and it is also the shortest of the three. Although it is shorter in length, towering trees and doglegs incorporated into its layout demand accurate shot-making in order to do well.

What an amazing course!
From the moment I arrived, to the moment I left, Mill Run has been an incredible experience. The 2 nines I played (Grind and Wheel) were in immaculate condition and the greens had a superb true roll. Through GolfNow I found an amazing rate and will most definitely be back again and pay double what I paid if need be! Fantastic and very impressive course and worth the drive from Toronto!
A scenic and challengin 18
This course was a real pleasure to play. Though I left a few too many shots out there, there day itself was wonderful. Friendly staff, well maintained course and a layout that leaves you thinking you are the only ones out there. A little farther than I thought from teh GTA but still worth the drive!
As most courses in the area, this course is in great shape for this time of year.
An average course that works great for us whenever we can't find better value. It's in good shape and the pace of play was good. We waited on a few tees and still finished in under 4 hrs.
No carts
They didn't have enough carts. We were told that as they became available they would bring them out to us. The staff did not come through with this. I saw that the people two groups behind us got the carts that we were promised we would get as they became available. No carts were brought out to us. I have bad knees and to much walking is hard on me. Most of all I just want to get what I payed for. When we made the turn we got a Cart there was many to chose from. Tired and sore the back nine did not go well either.
Good course god the money only if you get the golf now deal
Challenging and fun course with some long tough par 3s
Great Deal - Great Service
3 Nines - if possible book on the Champions course - that is the original layout
The Grind is the newer nine - great challenging greens!!!!!!
Staff is amazing
If I were to be a member of a Golf Club, this is the one I would choose.
The course is always in good shape. Very challenging, but fair. This course has some of the most beautiful scenary in Ontario, with my favourite being on the Grist (nine holes) standing on a raised tee deck on a hill looking at the gorgeous view from the sixth hole, par 5. You need to come and play this hole and experience the beauty along with the difficulty of this hole.
The hospitality is the best I have seen as far as a GTA course, here at Mill Run. Be careful of the first two holes on the Wheel, because if you miss the fairway you may be looking at double bogy both holes.
Like I said, if there is one course I might consider becoming a member of, it is here at Mill Run.
Decent course, but many are better.
Overall, it's a decent course in terms of degree of challenges and condition. Some of the greens are unnecessarily sloped from back to front. This course is good if you live in the area, but for those coming from Toronto, there are other courses that are better for the price.
Great Course
Beautiful course, you get to use every club in your bag. Well manicured, and organized, not too much waiting time at tees. Reasonable priced.
This course has it all.
Layout varied, great shape and electric carts with GPS terrific.
