Excellent course
The bunkers need attention and the availability of food on the course or at the turn needs improvement. Overall it was an amazing experience and look forward to returning soon!
Greens need serious and immediate attention
There are so many things I love about this course and the staff; however, the greens were in the worst shape I have ever seen them. They went through a time when the collars of the greens were in horrible shape and now to see the greens in this type of shape reminded me of greens at an overplayed muni. I sure hope the maintenance team turns this around soon. I have played other courses in the area with bent greens and theirs are in much better shape than Magnolia’s!

Good course
Generally, a good layout and good playing conditions. However, way too many blind shots, road crossings and poor sand traps.
Magnolia Green Golf Club
I don’t often get to play this course, as it’s typically a little more pricey than I’d like to play - but I scored a HOT DEAL and was very thankful for it. This course provides challenging elevation change, tighter fairways, and aggressive greens that are both quick and sloped usually on multiple levels. For the mid-handicapper, this will certainly give you a fun challenge and force you to play smarter. I truly enjoy playing this course every time I’m able to visit.
Great course, difficult greens.
Course is in great shape. Greens are difficult but roll true. Pin placements, especially for midweek, were very challenging! Many were no more than three paces from green fall off…much too challenging for the average amateur.
Bunkers
Bunkers last 2 times were hard and rocky in 50% of the bunkers
Great Course for a Hot Deal Only
The course is average condition at best. The price to play this course for regular rates (85-95 bucks) is 100% not worth it. Bunkers on most holes are in terrible shape & the fairways/other areas are only average condition or worse than some of the other cheaper courses (Birkdale, Providence, Mill Quarter)
