Magnolia Green Golf Club

Hot summer day but the course is in very good.condition. Greens and pin placements were challenging but ran true and consistent. Kudos to the staff.

Im a new Golfer (27 Handicap) I've played roughly 8 Rounds across 4-5 local (Richmond, VA) courses. This is the best course I've played. The dynamic geography of the greens is on a whole different level than most average courses. The chipping and putting practice area is the biggest/best I've seen in the local region. With my Limited experience I'd put Magnolia in the running for best course in Central VA...Certainly Top 5.

Overall, this course is in good shape given the amount of play it gets. The greens are NOT pitted with ball marks left behind. Staff was friendly and quick despite I was a cheap GolfNow customer. The turf problem areas have been sodded over. I will be back.

I really like this course. The fairways have finally grown in making for Some of the best fairways in the area. Greens are very challenging! This is a shot makers course. You may be tempted to hit driver when 3 wood is your friend.

Beautiful restaurant but service is slow. Just from knowing this course - “at the turn” snack shop is more of a miss than a hit being open.

Price … normally $105 to public. Little rich when compared to Highlands, New Kent, & my favorite Viniterria

I have not played Birkdale in years due to really bad course conditions and the high price I was charged. Time and proximity lead me to Birkdale reluctantly; but, man was I surprised!!! I joined a member and he was great and the course was awesome!!! I will play it again and will recommend it to others. Keep doing whatever you are doing because it shows and makes for a pleasant golf experience.

First nine was pretty average pace of play. When I hit the back nine, they packed em in. 45 minutes for 2 holes. I quit after the 12th. Wasn’t worth waiting 20 minutes in between shots. Course played great though

I had the chance to play this course for the 1st time and I was extremely impressed. The staff was very professional and nice and made me feel right at home. I went to the car and took out my bag and a very nice gentlemen came by, picked up my bag, took it to my cart and then brought me the cart back to my car. Conditions were great for this time of year. Fairways were very green and the rough was in transition from light brown to green. Perfect day for golf. It is definitely 2 different courses between the 9s. The front nine was extremely forgiving, open, and really fun to play. Once I got to the back 9, the courses crazy uncle came out and I'm still licking my wounds after the back 9 fiasco. I'd still play it again because this place not only had great people, not only had great golfing conditions but these golf carts have the softest cushions I've ever sat on for a golf cart! It was like sitting on a cloud the entire round. The young lady at the snack bar at the turn couldn't have been nicer. It was just an overall great experience even getting my butt handed to me on the back. Highly recommend this course and I will definitely be returning....even if I just get to ride the cart around the parking lot.
