Great course!!
I found a deal on golf now for $12 dollars and based on the previous reviews i couldn't let it go. The course was in Great condition and the greens were excellent. For about 3 people it took about 4:45 to play through. Definately would go back when back in the area!

Course was in great shape. Improved since I played a few years ago. Will definitely go back. Brought out of town houseguest who will likely play there again.
Excellent course features
The course was in excellent shape, especially the tee boxes. The tee boxes had all new lush green grass. With a four-some it was a bit difficult to finish play in four hours or so. It took us about 4 hours and 45 minutes.
Great golfing getaway
I took advantage of a great price on a Golf Now tee time opportunity. It was a last minute decision and I needed to get out and enjoy the weather. I thought for the price, the greens would be in some form of transition. I arrived and the driving range was closed due to the recent rains; which was understandable. I was suprised to find the greens in good condition and receptive to shots which were struck properly. The putts rolled very true. The great thing about Sugar Tree is you can go play golf and not listen to highway noise or planes flying overhead. It is a great place to enjoy golf and nature.
can't beat it
Long drive out there but well worth the drive. Especially the hot deals they have love the coarse put it in the fairway and it's playable
Excellent Coarse
Overall very well maintained with beautiful greens.
Being paired up
Did not want to be paired up with another group. Made for a long day, with players that you weren't compatible with.
Best course for the money this side of the rockies
I try to play this outstanding layout twice a month. Due to work I haven't been able to play it for 6 weeks.
I found the course in good shape, the greens were unexpectantly in better shape than I thought they would be fast and true. If this course was located anywhere within the confines of Dallas/FTW they could charge 4times what they do and it would be a bargain.
Wondeful Golf Outing
We had superior weather to play a fantastic course. I have absolutely nothing derogatory to express.
this course was in great shape
the golf course was in great shape a beautiful place and I definitely would go back and I recommend it to other friends
Beautiful course
Great course and beautiful scenery course just no cart girls for drinks after 3, course does need signs designating which hole you are at and directions for holes on the back nine. Great course and worth the 40 min drive
What a neat course !
Hard to beat the setting and course conditions. Well worth the drive.
We'll worth the drive
Sugartree is a gem. The fairways and greens are some of the best in north Texas. The scenery is wonderful as you play the course, the staff is also great, would recommend the course to all.Hope no one reads this so I can keep Sugartrre for me and my family,Good golfing!
Beautiful, fun course
I took the wife and 3 year old son out for a round. I found a great deal on Golfnow that was well worth the money. Normally on a Sunday it's about $50 (which is worth it), but I got in for $23. Many great features (elevations, water, and trees, ect.).
Absolutely Amazing
Other than one completely soaked tee box on the par 3 12th. It was absolutely amazing! From seeing the deer to playing the course. Just absolutely amazing.
Glad I came back
It's been years since I played Sugar Tree- and it was nice to go back. The course was in good condition and the greens were such that you had a chance to make a putt on every green. It won't be nearly so long before I go back out to this nice course.
Great condition and fun to play
Shot makers course that keep you coming back time and time again. I rate 4 stars only because I save 5 stars for premium/resort courses that are just perfect. Greens were greatly improved since I played here in April and are back to their normal condition that they're known for. This is my favorite course West of DFW.
Beautiful
One of the most beautiful courses I've ever played on.
Player must be very accurate for this course.
There was a lot of doglegs and water. Most of the doglegs were to the left.
I understand your concern about being paired up. On busy days it is course policy to pair up singles. February 7th was a very busy day with over 140 players on the course. To ensure you are able to play as a single you will need to play at a non peak time. Please call ahead if you request to play as a single. My golf shop staff will schedule your tee time accordingly. Thank you for playing SugarTree.
