One of the best courses in Virginia
I have played this course at least five times. I would play more if I still lived in the area. It is by far, my favorite course to have ever played. Pace of play is always excellent. The course condition has been excellent every time I have played dating back to 2012. It has wonderful scenes playing around the river. Some of the best greens I have ever putted on. If I could, I would play this course every day.
Awesome experience once again
Had a great time at the course once again. I had an odd request and the clubhouse was very accommodating. I was a single with only a 2 some in front of me and another 2some in front of them. Paced out well so i finished in about 2hrs and 45 minutes. When ever I am in the area I try to get a round in. Highly recommend this course. Lots of different tee boxes so accommodating for all levels of golfers.

Very interesting course.
Very nice day. Great weather for late December. Relatively small greens. Tricky, small bunkers all over made for some difficult recoveries. Overall excellent course and I look forward to returning in the spring.

Championship Sunday
Pete dye is a master of an architect and the course makes you hit every club in your bag. Bunkers strategically placed along the fairways and greens elevated on shelves. Fairways are tight and the rough is penalizing. To big of a miss and the ball is in fescue or a river. Add the 20 mph winds and this course feels like something the pros would play. Club house was beautiful and staff were extremely accommodating.

Great Course for money
Exceptional value. Course is in good shape, and the greens are solid. Beautiful scenery alongside the New River. The practice facility is decent.

Beautiful course on the river
Beautiful course along the New River. Pace of play was a little slow but was that to be expected on a busy football weekend. Would definitely recommend playing while in Blacksburg

Staff was super friendly- Hookies lager was delicious- did I mention it's probably the best value of any golf course east of the Mississippi? Can't beat the views or the price- would have considered it a deal at $125 & played for $40. GO PLAY IT & THANK ME LATER- GEM

Beautiful Course Along the River
1st time playing and it did not disappoint. Beautiful layout. Will definitely be back. Worth the 4 hour drive from Northern Virginia. Multiple sets of tees so you can choose based on your ability.
