About
Located just six miles west of Ocean City, Md., Ocean Resorts Golf Club is a good option if you're looking for a round that is fun to play but still a good value. The course is known for being player friendly enough for any skill level but there are still several challenges in store with multiple sets of tees that range from 4,800 to 6,500 yards. Water hazards come into play on a few holes and there are also several strategically placed bunkers you'll have to contend with. The layout rewards proper club selection and good strategy but it's not overly punishing for high handicappers. A unique aspect of Ocean Resorts is that it's owned by the Wor-Wic Community College.

Nice Layout, Terrible Greens, Don't Book Late in the Day
The course layout is really nice, it looks like it was once a top tier course but has fallen into disrepair. The greens were covered in all sorts of dropping from trees making it impossible to putt without a leaf blower.
The fairways were average at best but had a significant amount of empty spots where grass was no longer growing.
And, the most obnoxious part of all for use was that we arrived at 3:45 for our 4:30 tee time to allow for practice putting and a beverage or two. They informed us we needed to be in by 7 pm even though sunset wasn't until 7:40 that day. They did let us go out a few minutes early and we managed to finish the course but had to essentially rush every shot for 18 holes. It was not a relaxing outing at all.
Starter claimed no need for handicap flags because course was adaptive. Cart path close to greens. Not true and many holes signed cart path only. Cart signs diredted away from green excessively fast from greens overall not very adaptive friendly
Great as always
I'm a local so I play here a lot. Course is always in good shape, very fun to play. Staff is always very helpful and courteous. Generally speaking, a very good value. Can't wait till next time.
Not quite ready for prime time
Interesting course layout and very friendly staff. Nice grass driving range. Unfortunately the course was in springlike condition, fairways were sparse and the greens were slow and needed to be rolled. The tee boxes needed to be mowed as a teed ball just cleared the grass. The course layout is good and the course has potential with a little maintenance. Give it a few weeks and maybe the conditions might be better. All that said it is a nice course for beginner golfers and families.

OR is a hidden gem. Nice layout, good condition, outstanding staff and an excellent value. I play here often and always have a great experience.

An excellent fall day. The course was in good shape for November - the recent dry conditions have helped fairways and greens. The crew are taking good care of this course and it shows.

Basically, the only ones on the course. Course is in great condition. They are working hard to keep the course in great condition. My wife and I have been playing this course since it first openend
