About
Ocean City Golf Club offers two championship courses: Newport Bay and Seaside. Opened in 1959, the Seaside Course is the club's original layout and since opening it has remained an Eastern shore favorite. It has a more traditional design than the other course, which underwent a renovation and rebuild. Seaside offers classic greens tightly lined with bunkers that are balanced with wide-open, player-friendly fairways. It is a challenging but playable test that is popular amongst locals. Five sets of tees make it even more approachable. The views of the marshes and bay, as well as the trees, give the course the feel of one in the Carolinas. In addition to the two courses, Ocean City Golf Club also offers a driving range and putting green before teeing off.

Vacation Golf Round
The golf course and layout the were in good condition. The staff was offputting and not inviting to enjoy the facilities while we were waiting. We felt rushed and pushed around from the clubhouse to the bar area without too much information as to when we would tee off. We were paired up with a wonderful player/anniversary member— so that did help the day and we enjoyed that most of all!
Always enjoyable
This is my go-to course in Ocean city, Not extremely difficult, but plenty of sand play if you chose 😉. I don't know, but I just like it!
Great value great shape.
Great outing! Pace of play was a bit slow with all of the walkers. Tee boxes and fairways were pristine!!! Greens are always an issue in Ocean City. For the love of Pete please fix your balll marks on the greens. Rule of thumb: fix your mark and someone else’s. Will definitely be back
IN AND OUT
The course was in great shape. They just cut the greens. The best part was I had the 8:28 tee time and finished playing at 11:40. Still had the rest of the day.
Slowplay
Sent out as a single behind a bunch of 4somes hard to find a ball in the rough just off the fairway found other balls but not mine I assume other people had the same problem
Slow and slower😡
Really think they over booked because we were not even off on time. Got to first hole 5min pass tee time and guys ahead were just leaving tee area. Guys ahead of them had not even gotten to the green. Needless to say it was hit a shot and wait 4-5 minutes for next! Took us 5 hours. For a golf club it lacks on course Amenities such as water, restrooms and we saw the cart girl once and she was out of everything!
Will not be back again. Mentioned to starter and he just blew us off.
Wide open
Great course for the average golfer. Wide open but with at least a few challenges. The greens actually slope a bit! Great staff and great pricing. Pace of play is good as most players are average or over.
Not esthetically pleasing golf course
Pace of play was slow and the back nine was even slower due to cart path only. Because it was called seaside, I thought we would see some water but we did not see any. It was a very plain course unlike others that have a lot of natural environmental beauty to them. I would not play there again.
Cart path only
The course closed the back nine for no apparent reason and never let us know when we made the tee time. I am recovering from major back surgery and have just started playing again. It was very difficult and if they had let us know we would have played somewhere else.
Played with an injury. Wasnt informed until we teed off that the back nine was cart path only. So we didnt play the back nine. Waste of money. Would not have booked at the course if they would let is know that because of new grass they were not letting you drive carts on the course.
Liked the course layout. Speed of play was good.
Front nine holes were nicely groomed.
Wasn't happy with the back 9 holes.
Several of the holes had very large dirt patches!
I payed $80.00 for a round and felt I didn't get my moneys worth.
