SaddleBrooke Ranch Golf Club
About
Located in the North Tucson area, SaddleBrook Ranch Golf Club borders the Santa Catalina Mountains. The course meanders through the high Sonoran desert, incorporating natural washes into the design and providing stunning mountain views from almost every hole. Abundant desert flora and fauna further enhance the rugged, gently rolling terrain. The golf course offers a mix of challenging holes and player-friendly features, resulting in a layout with several interesting risk-reward opportunities that will appeal to low and high handicappers equally. The player-friendly fairways are generous, allowing beginners to feel comfortable with ample room off the tees and rewarding thoughtful play. There are also carefully placed mounds, hollows, and bunkers along the large, receptive greens that provide opportunities to recover an errant shot. The golf course is made even more versatile with five different sets of tees.

Bring food and drink
They removed water to drink from the course and no cart girl. They say all the members bring their own stuff but dont say that for you when making t time
Aerification Alert
It would have been nice to know ahead of time that the entire course, fairways and greens, had been aerified and sanded the week before.
Saddle Brook Ranch
Front nine was wide-open, great pace. Back nine, not so much. Course is starting to look a bit "haggard" due to the heat (areas dying, patching in turf, lots of mushy areas due to extreme watering). All damage noted was in the approach areas/fairways, greens were just fine.
Freshly punched and top dressed.
Almost unplayable due to excessive top dressing. Wait 2-3 weeks for conditions to normalize. There was NO WARNING about this on the TeeOff website.
Terrible Course Conditions
While I was playing they were watering the fairways. I had to stop until someone turned the water off.The fairways were full of sand with very little vegetation. The greens were bumpy and very slow to put on. I was very disappointed. Very few people were playing. I was a single playing the course by myself. I play this couse alot and never saw it in this poor condition!
Nice Round of Golf
We had a beautiful day to play. The course was in really good condition considering the time of the year. The greens were hard, tough to hold, but true, and speed was up there. Great cahampionship layout - I played from the pines and it was very fair. The staff in the pro shop was not very welcoming, a little to up tight for me. But, overall a great day.
Rip off
Had a tee time at noon and was raining. My wife would not get out of the car. I ask for a “ rain check” or to reschedule to another day. They said “ no rain checks unless there is lightning “. Total jerks and took my money Never going back. First time o played they had spray painted the fairways green. Stay away !!
Great value
Great value for the money. Course is in pretty good condition and plays fast/firm. Front nine is a snoozer and the back nine is more interesting/challenging. Played as a foursome in 4:15 on a busy afternoon despite being packed due to 7 minute tee times.
Tale of two different 9’s.
Nice manicured course at a reasonable and value price. Front nine is fairly wide open and the back 9 places more of a premium on accurate shotmaking especially holes 11, 13, 16 and a long finishing 18th. Played the green tees which is a fair and doable challenge. Always a fun course to play! Enjoy!
I Love Summer Rates!
Perfect combination of low rate and perfect temperature.
