About
Located in the North Tucson area, SaddleBrook Ranch Golf Club borders the Santa Catalina Mountains. The course meanders through the high Sonoran desert, incorporating natural washes into the design and providing stunning mountain views from almost every hole. Abundant desert flora and fauna further enhance the rugged, gently rolling terrain. The golf course offers a mix of challenging holes and player-friendly features, resulting in a layout with several interesting risk-reward opportunities that will appeal to low and high handicappers equally. The player-friendly fairways are generous, allowing beginners to feel comfortable with ample room off the tees and rewarding thoughtful play. There are also carefully placed mounds, hollows, and bunkers along the large, receptive greens that provide opportunities to recover an errant shot. The golf course is made even more versatile with five different sets of tees.

Ranch twilight
Greens were flawless! Beautiful day with sunset on 18th hole made it very memorable. Much better than a couple of years ago when last played this course. All amenities closed at 2:00 and nearby restaurant on site closed on Monday so low score for that. Great twilight bargain of however many holes you can get in .
Staff
Steve was at the pro shop. He was pretty short and rude when I called about club rentals. When we arrived, he questioned if we had one bag for each player. I told him we did and we needed to rent three bags. He told me he wanted to see the three bags we brought. I explained that they were still in the car. He said he still wanted to see them. I have never been harassed about seeing. How many bags we had. Regardless, I assured him we had a bag for each player. And he still insisted to see how many bags we had. This was ridiculous.
Much improved
I have played Saddlebrook Ranch many times. But this is the best condition the course has been in! Fairways and greens are green with good grass. The bunkers may be the best in the area. The greens are hard and don’t leave ball marks but they are smooth and roll true. Keep up the good work on the course!
Great track
Course is an amazing golf track for all levels of golfers. Conditions are superb
Terrible Course Conditons
When I arrived at the golf course, I found out that the WHOLE course was cart path only. When I asked why, the worker reluctantly said that the irrigation system malfunctioned and FLOODED the whole course. I had alot of excess walking with temperatures in the 90's. I should have been notified about these condiotns BEFORE I arrived at the course.
Good Course Ego Booster
This course has the biggest and most forgiving fairways I’ve seen. The greens were in great condition the day I played. There are painfully slow players most times I’ve played here.

Played in 3:40 on a Sunday morning. Great conditions...fun course!

Fast front nine, but a different story on the back nine.
We breezed through the front nine but had to wait for slower groups ahead of us.
