Course was in really good shape, greens are good and receptive. Pace was good. They had a ranger who actually was out and having people keep pace! Staff was friendly. Range in great shape, short game area in great shape.

An early tee time and sunny day made it a pleasure to play here. Unfortunately they started us off playing the back nine for some reason, and the number ten hole is a challenge even when you're in a rhythm, so it was a difficult start. Fast and hard greens with some tough pin placements, but overall in good condition.

This course redid their greens this summer and they were only put into play 3 weeks ago. They are perfect.

Course is really quite good, and the newly done greens are challenging, but pretty cons.

Took 5 hours to play the round. Triple stacked on some tee boxes. No marshal the whole round. Also no cart refreshments.

The course was good but one hole was cart path only and needed a lot of work. I was not happy that there was no ball washers on the course. Hope fully they will correct this.

We had a really fun time, enjoyed the course. It was our fist time golfing here, We were paired with another 2some, very nice gentlemen that made our round even more fun.

The one thing we were disappointed about was no beverage/snack cart, and the snack shack at the turn was closed at 2:36 when we got there, so no water, snacks, beverages available- on a Friday afternoon. Would have been good to know before we T'd off. We would've purchased before we T'd off on #!. Also the bathroom at the turn was closed. Not very user friendly for our experience (T time as 12:45)

I’ve played this course (10 months ago). They shut down to redo the greens, and the greens are back!!!

Firm, but smooth, and fast. You will be hard pressed to play on better, overlooking their firmness. Tee boxes reseeded and wonderful. Fairways close cut (not reseeded, but still green. May go dormant later in the year and may be painted (I’m ok with that). Sand fluffy, no rocks, exceptional.

Crotchety pro shop guy (normally could care less) he goes out of his way to be “difficult”.

My concern is golf, and the golf was very good, and impressive.

My wife and I played for the first time on 10/11, and it was such a fantastic experience! The course was absolutely breathtaking. The course itself was a good challenge(I am quite the amateur golfer). We had one sour interaction with a staff member, but everyone else was above and beyond with their friendly service. All in all, I would give our experience a 10/10 and would recommend this course to anyone!

Here in Az. October is reseeding or overseeding month and most courses are either closed, in awful condition, or open only with severe restrictions (like cart path only for the entire course). This course was in good shape and only a few holes were cart path only. That's good enough for October.

The greens have been closed all summer. No reason for it and still charge full rate. T off new this and made no mention. T off golfnow or easy links whatever theycall themselves Is just a monopoly on golf t times. You have to jump through all there hoops to get any deal. Most of the time you don't get a deal, very terrible site now. It used to be the best.

SBR is one of our favorite courses to play. Unfortunately we did not know that temporary greens were in use and we did not see a notice on GolfNow or we might have played somewhere else. Given that, we will return to SBR when the normal greens are in play. Again, this is one of our favorite courses and we will return. Average rating due to the temp greens.

Still waiting for the redone greens to open! Everything is coming in to place. Nice green fairways and rough. Practice putting and chipping greens are still closed. The course should be really nice come the first week of October! Can't wait!!!!

Course has temporary greens this course is always under consideration

First time to play there. The course had temporary greens. Could get a good feel for the course. Would like to play it again when greens are open.

Temp greens til Oct. Cart path on 4 holes (par 4s and 5s). Extremely rude staff . Act like you are getting a favor to play.. Still $25 on hot deals. Right now play elsewhere in Tucson for $20. Won't go back till whole course us open. No value.
