SaddleBrooke Ranch Golf Club
About
Located in the North Tucson area, SaddleBrook Ranch Golf Club borders the Santa Catalina Mountains. The course meanders through the high Sonoran desert, incorporating natural washes into the design and providing stunning mountain views from almost every hole. Abundant desert flora and fauna further enhance the rugged, gently rolling terrain. The golf course offers a mix of challenging holes and player-friendly features, resulting in a layout with several interesting risk-reward opportunities that will appeal to low and high handicappers equally. The player-friendly fairways are generous, allowing beginners to feel comfortable with ample room off the tees and rewarding thoughtful play. There are also carefully placed mounds, hollows, and bunkers along the large, receptive greens that provide opportunities to recover an errant shot. The golf course is made even more versatile with five different sets of tees.

Saddlebrook Ranch GC
Although I played on a very cold and windy day, I enjoyed my round at Saddlebrook Ranch GC. Apparently they spent a lot of money redoing the greens and some fairways last summer and it shows. Greens were running true, very fast but you did have to land the ball short of the green to remain below the hole. Very good value course for the money paid.
Saddlebrooke Ranch
Course was in excellent shape - particularly the greens. Good track. Number 10 little gimmicky par 5 with two washes that require some course knowledge for correct layup distances for first two shots. Will definitely play again.
New greens hard and fast, NO overseed on fairways so tight lies everywhere.
Good play, but frustration when good shots not rewarded due to hard/fast greens.
Nice Course but...
The course was in great condition and I was able to get a tee time for a deal! The pace of play however was crawling. Thought I would get 18 in easy but almost didn’t beat the sun! The course layout was fun, however if you are a decently long hitter (250+) you will find yourself hitting iron off the tee a lot due to washes you have to carry over on the second shot. The amenities are fabulous and staff is friendly. COVID-19 precautions are pretty strict but it is a retirement community so it is understandable.
Greens Won't Hold Approach Shots!!!
Good to see the course finally completed the greens upgrades. They putt very true. Unfortunately they will not hold approach shots making the course virtually unplayable. Fairways are dormant Bermuda, painted green. Very disappointing. Our 4some will not be back.
Amazing
Great shape in general. The greens are amazing. I’ve never seen greens like this before.
Really enjoy this course
My wife and I really enjoy playing Saddlebrook Ranch. It’s challenging but not hard..
Curious to know their policy on twilight constraints. Pro shop was closed when we got in and the ranger met us between 10 and 11 and said to have the carts back in by 5:15, this was at about 5. We finished the hole and went in so we only got 11 holes in .curious to know about a possible rain check for 9. But will be back for sure. Also love the Ranch House bar and restaurant after a round.
Fairways could use some work ! Greens are below average !
Great course ? Condition excellent !! Will be back ! Alex Matus
