Expect a 5-6hr Round

Every time I play this course, I get to the tee box and there are at least 2-3 groups of 4 waiting on the first tee. Every. Time. It is unbelievable. We were a twosome and it took us 1.5hrs to play the first 4 holes. We tee’d off at 1pm and didn’t even get to finish our round before dark.

If this was a single occurrence, it would be no big deal, but it happens every time I play this course, which is a shame because I love the layout, but it is completely overbooked with tee times way too close together.

Fantastic course, little rough this time of year

As one would expect this time of year, the greens on the back 9 were a little rough but the course overall was outstanding. Great design and very tough.

Pretty, But tough

This course is very challenging. There is not a flat surface on this course including the greens. It is well maintained, that said, it has the worst cart path I’ve driven in Georgia other than Collins Hills course in Lawrenceville.

Under renovation

This is a beautiful course, and will be again! They are undergoing some major renovations and there are a few rough patches because of the work being done. The staff were great, & lunch in the clubhouse was delicious. The only reason for 4 stars would be the occasional inconvenience of the major landscaping work that is in progress.

We started on the back 9 due to some frost delays and had no one in front of us. Pace was a bit slow when we caught up with the folks on the front 9, but I have dealt with worse. I would definitely return, even with the construction in progress!

Great course, great price

Title says it all. Well maintained and surprisingly reasonable prices. Tough hilly course with quick greens. Tee boxes and fairways in good condition. 0 complaints about anything including pace of pace. 3 of us played 18 in just under 4 hours with no speed pressure from behind and the group in front of us moved at a solid pace. Carts give you distance to hole as well.

Over priced par 3

Slowest round ever played

The back 9 was like a par 3 course and very dangerous tee shots over the head of other tee boxes

They charge $100 per person. This is a $20 dollar goat farm

Fun to play

Most of the greens were in decent condition but were extremely slow. We weren’t used to the kind of grass on the fairway or the greens. Even though a few of the holes were under construction, it was fun to play

Great course…unfriendly staff

First time playing this course. Early afternoon tee time and the course was wide open. Couldn’t have been a better day for golf. Sunny and mid-70s. There was no staff present from the parking lot to the pro shop. The pro shop had one employee working and didn’t look up when I approached. I spoke first and told him my tee time. At first he couldn’t find my tee time. Once he located my time he just told me the amount. After my card went through he handed me a cart key and a receipt which he wrote my tee time and something else. Back outside I found a cart. Still no staff to be found. I followed a sign to the first tee where a grumpy old starter sat in his cart. Once again it was as though I was a bother. He yelled up to another patron that was on the range and said we would be paired together with another two-some. I told the starter I had not played the course before which he replied for me to just follow my playing partner. I have been playing Chicopee Woods and Reunion a lot lately which both courses have very friendly and helpful personnel. To me Heritage seemed to not want to deal with me. I will say that the course was in excellent condition. The have put a lot of money back into the course. I also enjoyed the layout. It is a tight course yet old school open with nice open views of the Georgia pines. I do feel that if the owners want to make improvements to the entire facility then the staff needs be included. First impressions do make a difference.

Not worth the money

Driving range was closed without notice. Construction equipment everywhere. Some greens closed. lost ball 4 times while hitting it right down the middle as the grass was too long. Was able to find about 10 balls for the same reason so that balanced it out, With the exception of John the Marshall who was great the rest of the staff made it feel like we were inconveniencing them by being there. Will not go back. Should mention course is undergoing renovation in the booking process.

Tradition is too tight too short and the greens are terrible

I was very disappointed by this course, only the tradition part of the course is currently open which is fair because you know in advance, tradition is a small and tight layout with very insulated greens, the greens are very patchy and we’re extremely soft the day we played, pitch shots would not even bounce once and got stuck immediately, of course many people don’t fox their pitch marks… I did not enjoy playing the course specifically for the greens but also the rest of the course is not in great condition, I will not play there again until the rest of the course is open and tradition I will never play again

Trapped

You could only play the same 9 holes twice. The course was backed up so the pace of play way slow. Approximately 2:50 minutes for 9 holes. They wanted carts in at 7:15 pm, I had only completed 9 holes. Went to the clubhouse to ask for a rain check for 9 holes but was denied.
