Heritage Golf Links - Heritage Nine

We played Legacy/Heritage combination for 18 holes. Took almost 6 hours on a Saturday. They were obviously taking anybody's money who showed up. They ran out of golf carts and practice balls. Tee boxes were a disgrace. Completely chewed up. The greens were very rough. The layout and the hole visuals are outstanding. Properly managed I would love to play this course but life is too short to spend 6 hours playing 18 holes of golf

Great course. Went early so pace of play was great. Greens are difficult and heavily undulating. Love playing this course great challenge.

Played at 7:15am after torrential rains overnight and couldn’t tell. The drainage is amazing there. Challenging course. Three 9’s. Great shape.

Very Nice course. The course was soggy -- can't blame that on the management - heavy rain the night before.

Staff was friendly and helpful.

The snack bar was very limited and the turkey and cheese sandwich had precious little meat.

Had a good time fabulous lay out. Better views challenging holes can’t wait to get back down there and play it again and again highly recommend.

Greens had a lot of divits--fairway in good shape.

Very sad to learn this property won't be a golf course for all that much longer. Play it while you can!

Pace of play was noticeably quite slow, caught group in front by the second tee box. Greens were over watered even though it was sunny all week leading up to this day. Due to the green conditions, pitch marks were craters, and the majority were either not repaired properly, or not repaired at all. Every putt undoubtedly would hit one of these marks. The wetness was evident esp. near the holes, where foot marks or spike marks could be seen. I am not sure why they can't make the greens more firm and dry, to prevent the above issues. Some greens were also still sandy from a previous aeration. Teeing grounds were fine, fairways were excellent. Bunkers were very hard and packed down (probably from copious amounts of water used). Course layout is nice, part of the challenge is not really having an even lie even on the fairways or just off the fairway. Par 3s are super long for no reason from the tips, - hitting 3hybrids/2irons into 240+ par 3s is certainly different probably would go a tee down for more enjoyment. Probably wouldn't come back due to pace of play/greens, just not enjoyable knowing a putt has no chance to go in. Has potential to be worth an 80 dollar round just needs to be dried out.

Strangely crowded to levels that would make you think there’s no pandemic. No masks on staff. No masks in clubhouse. Groups of 8 playing in front of groups of 2. Shame because the course looks fun and challenging. I wouldnt know because I couldnt finish it in under 5 hours.
