McDowell Mountain Golf Club

Pace of play and course conditions were great! I went out by myself and they made me share a cart with another person, which I didn’t love since it sure seemed like they had plenty available. They also only give you about 10 balls to hit at the range. For the price I have mixed feelings taking all that into consideration.

I didn't feel ripped off and I paid $120. Course was in good shape. Played really early on a weekday so it was a quick pace. Bunkers were tough to get out of. I hate all bunkers.

Not the typical desert course. Fairways are fairly wide in my opinion and greens roll true. Good for couples. Tito the starter is an exceptional customer service rep.

We’ve golfed this course several times and this was our worst experience. Arrived early to have lunch before our round only to find out the restaurant was closed for the day. On Mothers Day. We had a 1:30ish tee time and at hole four the beverage cart person informed us it would be last call, she was going home and the clubhouse bar would be closed. When we asked why she informed us that they had staffing issues. Despite that we made it through the front nine in good time. When we started the back nine, there were four groups stacked up on hole 10. The pace ground to a halt on every hole. After hole fourteen we couldn’t take it any more. It was over 100. As we were driving back to the clubhouse we found the problem. There was a threesome on hole 16 and 17 and 18 were wide open. Never saw a ranger once. What a bummer. This used to be a go to for us. Not anymore.

The fairways were burnt out in many places, particularly on the front nine. Greens were good, fast.

The bunkers are abysmal, basically dirt & stones, completely devoid of sand

Played yesterday and here is my experience. 5 hour round. No water on the course and it was over 90 degrees. No GPS on carts and paid 200 bucks to play. When we made the turn we wanted to get some food, there was none. The straw that broke the camels back was the marshal that drove up as I was on the tee box and basically yelled at us in my back swing about why we were waiting on this short par 4 where at least 2 of us could have drove the green and there was a 4some on the green. Will never play this course again, way too much money, and unbelievable bad course staff. I will say the people in the clubhouse were fine.

Good course, in good condition. there was two foursomes in front of us playing what looked like a best ball match which slowed pace of play.

Never again, since Arsis took over this course is a joke. This track should be $79 not $179.

Challenging, fair course. In good condition. Two foursomes in front of us were allowed to play best ball which slowed play. Good value.

Average course. Expensive for the course quality, pricey food and drink, crowded practice facility. Pace of play a bit slow. Most of course is between power lines and a canal.

This is a descent course, slightly above average. I should say very slightly above average, like almost average. Now bring the price info play and this course is not even close to worth the $180+ they want you to pay. It would be nice if courses new their worth and would charge appropriately but I guess the demand is too high and the flocks of people visiting to play golf are still willing to pay a higher price.

The golf club and cart assistance people were both lazy - nowhere to be found - and surly. All other people were nice.
