Always have liked this course

When living in Scottsdale was my home course

1st time playing here in about 2yrs

The Staff was great as always, Greens and Fairways were in great shape

The sand traps here are awful

Watered down, puddled and full of Rocks

And how do you charge $8 for high Noon at bar but at turn outside its $9

Again, good course overall

But def not worth what they charge!

Course was in great shape. Greens ran true and grass in great shape. Staff is good but pro shop boys could be friendlier. Not much eye contact or sincerity in their demeanor. But I don't let their attitude detract from a great experience. Player Service fellers were awesome, beverage cart was friendly but non-existent as she had to leave early I guess.. that led to no drinks on the back 9.. but I came for golf not drinking.. the food station and #10 was the best. What a cheerful, happy and attentive girl. She said it was her first day, I was surprised. She is a keeper. The starter was good, the course marshal(s) kept pace of play going very well.

All in all a very positive day. I will be back for sure

Great course, and it was enjoyable as a visitor to Arizona.

Only regret is it was cart path only. Need to update website during this time.

If you hit it straight off the tee, you can score. Fairways and greens in nice shape, the over seed slows down the greens but they roll true. The price was nice and the servers on course were plentiful. Nice value.

Course was in great shape. Rough was long as they’ve been letting the new grass grow out. It was cart path only, and there were two groups in front of us that were terribly slow. Round was 4:45. No ranger to police pace on the back 9.

This is a fantastic course giving every type of golfer an opportunity to challenge themselves as much as they want. Course layout is fantastic with great visual treats all around. You can play strategic golf or take as much risk for reward on holes as you dare.

There was divots on almost every green. Probably the punk kids playing in front of us.

They are getting ready to overseed but the fairways are in terrible shape beyond what overseeding would require. They clearly haven't watered the grass in weeks because there were a ton of large dirt only areas throughout. The greens were OK. Not worth the money at all - and it's a course I generally like although they have had condition challenges for a while.

Course was enjoyable and in good shape considering the brutal heat this summer. Greens and tee boxes are in good shape, with some bare spots on periphery of fairways. Staff was helpful. Will definitely do again.

I've been. out ro AZ several times on vacation a d always put McDowell Mtn on the list. Great layout and conditions (considering the brutal Summer). Greens rolled true and there was plenty to think about when deciding on your next shot. Staff was friendly a d I had a terrific local beer with my lunch after my round..

Really would not recommend this course. Maybe in a month or two. The greens were in very good shape, but that's about it. So many dead spots on the fairways. Areas that were just dirt, as well as very "patchy". For the money, not worth it. Oh, forgot to mention that the bunker(s) were absolutely terrible.

Course is overpriced right now (summer) especially for the condition it’s in. Lots of poor conditioned fairways and tee boxes. Better value in summer other places, hope to see the course make a comeback on its condition..
