every hole on the back nine, as we pulled up to the tee box, the group in front of us was still on the tee. It was not their fault, it was backed up. However we could see that two holes ahead of us, that group was at least a hole behind.

Course for mid April is not in good shape, the driving range was terrible, no grass, the putting green was the worst putting green I've seen; poor layout, dried out grass.

The greens have some sort of insect damage or disease.

I’ve played her several times .Phil Michelsen would not be happy with the course condition particularly the greens. They have some sort of blight or insect damage.

We finished at 6:00 pm and went in to have a sandwich . Grill was closed down.

This place has really deteriorated.

The course is in great shape, challenging in the best possible ways, and very friendly staff. Beautiful views too!

Played early joining a twosome (maybe 8th group off). Pace of play was awful for that early. Course was in great shape, tees, fairways and greens very green and healthy. Greens rolled great. Not the most difficult course but very enjoyable except for the pace of play.

Such a sad course. We played two other courses so far on this vacation, and both were $50 per person less than this one. Greens were scalped in many locations at McDowell Mountain. Fairways were also patchy in spots. This is “high season.” Guess for this course means charge high, deliver a sub-par product.

This course had a good reputation but the reality is the fairways are in terrible shape, 40% or more dirt, and forget hitting your ball out of the traps. They were cement. I actually tried to break up the hard surface around my ball but it was hard pan. Not that difficult to have maintenance rake and add new sand. Very disappointed especially for $125 round.. They are booking 400 rounds per day on both courses so I don’t think they will bother spending money on improvements. New to area and avid golfers Save your money and skip this course They are relying on their past reputation. Staff was great.

My buddy Ralph and I played here for the first time with much anticipation. He was a bit foreboding when you use the range, short game are and practice greens, as they are in poor condition. The rest of the course is maintained alright but not great. The 9th fairway may need to be blown up and redone totally. The design of the holes are unique and very clever given the unusual piece of land the course sits on. I think the holes offer challenges, but are also very fair. Pace of play was just under 2 hours on the front, but things jammed up on the back and we played that in 2:20. I would love to play this course again after Troon Golf moves forward with the much needed renovations and repairs. Give it a try!

Everything was great with the exception of the practice facility.

Decent course. Greens were beat up but ok. Pace was slow but it was Saturday and busy. Will play again if the price is right.
