Great course
First time playing here the course was overall really nice. The conditions seem good and the staff is friendly. The other golfers on the course were friendly as well. Definitely will be back.

Fall Golf
We travelled from OR to escape the Cold and wet conditions. It was 80 degree and we had a great day of golf and dinner after.

Rough too long and punitive
Our group spent excessive time searching for drives lost just off of the fairway. Rough too long. Affected pace of play and enjoyment

November is Perfect for Golf in AZ
Great weather and the course was in terrific condition except for the traps. Zero sand and hard as rock; poor maintenance. Beautiful layout with spectacular views. Pace of play was slow. Group in front of us took multiple extra tee shots and stood over every putt like it was the Masters. No rangers around to speed them up.

Cart path only Why?????
They had cart path only why. There was No need for cart path only, the course didn’t have any seeding it was grown in. We tried to get an extra cart so our wives could ride along. They had some BS excuse saying they didn’t have any extra carts. We saw rows of carts lined up and plenty in the cart barn. Since it was cart path only our wives could drive the carts on the path and save time going back and forth. Bunch unfriendly employees acted like they were doing you a favor to wait on you. I will say the course was in good shape.

The course was cart path only, which made it very difficult.

Okay, mild course in pretty good condition
Not the most exciting but nice enough. Surprised when we arrived that we had to wait for a later tee time because we have a rider and they only allow two carts per foursome…only to find nearly every other foursome with three carts. Still charged a rider fee too. Pretty disappointed, have never run into this and have golfed dozens of local courses. With so many options, probably won’t be back to this one but is an okay course.

Good shape except bunkers
Very friendly staff. Services were good. Course was in very good shape. Bunkers were badly in need of fresh sand.

Outside of the overseeding, the experience was very solid. Course layout was varied and impressive.

Excellent condition
Cart path only but very lush right now. Power lines are a distraction, but not in play. Bunkers were a little gritty. Great service inside and out. Chicken parm sandwich was amazing.

Early tee and overseed
Course played incredibly well, went out early in the morning, barely waited on a box. Bevcart left a little to be desired, only one cart running the course, if you miss them going by you at the turn you’ll see them coming down the fairway of 18.

One off Experience at McDowell Mtg
For the $75, i wouldn't recommend going before overseeding! the course was cut way down and all the drives down the fairway would run off the sides and into the desert. We adapted with clubbing down but still made it very difficult with some pin positions having a masters like roll off. Crews were on many of the holes and the course should have been highly discounted or closed due to conditions.
