McDowell Mountain Golf Club

this course was in great shape and greens were in great shape. there were a couple greens that were a little bumpy and slower, but overall it was a great course. it was my first time there and i will definitely be back. the price was good ($30) this time of year. i'm sure they will be able to charge quite a bit more in the busy season.

Summer heat golf , expected the course was a little dry but still in very good condition. Course of play is challenging but not brutal. Staff was warm and friendly from greeting to departure. I had a fine day..

Lovely course, friendly staff, quick play and best of all, very few houses nearby to spoil the view.

Greens are bumpy as usual and running 7. Lots of dead and diseased grass around greens. I think you can do better for the money other places

Love the changes they've done with the course. Much more player friendly. Course in excellent shape for summer. Only one fairway was a bit beat up.

loved the course would love to play it again,but the marshall who told us we were going to slow several times and we needed to pick up the pace because there was no one in front of us for 2 holes well we had a foresome and right in front of us was a twosome and clearly there going to go faster than us and just in front of them a threesome and no one coming up on us from behind so i dont know what his problem was we finished the 18 in 3hrs and 50 min not bad so other than that loved the course without him would have been better,3 others agree

This was the first time we have played this course. The staff was extremely friendly and the course was in really great shape for this time of year. The sand traps were well maintained and had plenty of sand in them.

A very good course for family members to enjoy. Level of difficultly is moderate. Weather was excellent.

The course is in good shape. The holes are challenging and difficult. You need to keep it in the fairway and not try to make too much out of a bad shot. The greens rolled well. They are still going thru transition and have been sanded some. Not bad though.

Remodel has helped pace of play and lengthened holes for better players. Clubhouse remodel looks great. Only complaint is that greens were long and slow.

From the staff to the greens, this course is TOP SHELF especially for summer golf in AZ. The entire course was in great shape. Can't wait to play it again!

The course had dead spots. Greens OK. Price was good. Those prices should be like that all year around.

What can I say... Go play!! Plaaaay!!! When I return to Arizona I will play this course several time..

The course is in great shape . Play it now while the prices are low. The staff from the Pro shop to the cart girl were above and beyond great service . Only little complaint was the ranger a little annoying , we played in 3:45 min. ( 4 some ) behind a 2 some ,not holding anyone up, was pressing us to play faster . Don't think Walmart will be hiring him as a Greeter anytime soon.

Enjoyed the course. Challenging and very scenic. Well maintained and friendly staff. Will definitely play again.

Nice track. The conditions were very good for this time of year and the layout was very enjoyable. The staff could not have been more outstanding, they made you feel welcome from the minute you set foot on the course. Very similar feel to Longbow, another excellent AZ track.

The greeting from the young man who checked us in was so friendly and efficient. The new clubhouse is great. The outside staff are just as friendly and helpful. The staff in the cafe are equally as friendly and helpful. The course was well maintained, pace was perfect and very convenient for us.Two women who had not played in a very long time, had a great day of golf. We'll be back.

Mc Dowell is a great course with different challenges all around. A yardage book will help, although the markers needed some trimming from the grass growing around as they were a bit difficult to find. A nice layout with plenty of room to work the ball and get rewarded. The greens were a bit slow. Nice clubhouse. On a down note communicating that there's no beverage cart would be helpful.

Would be nice to have iced towels on the cart in summer.
