About
The Club at Frisco Farms (formerly known as Plantation Golf Club) was created for the average golfer -- it's a user-friendly course where spectacular play is not required for a decent score. Playing only 6,400 yards from the tips and under 6,000 from the middle tees, the golf course isn't long, and it includes many par 4s that are nearly driveable. Erratic, careless play is punished, however, with out-of-bounds lining the fairways and water coming into play on a few holes. Those short par 4s in particular are all guarded by water. Two of The Club at Frisco Farms par-3 holes -- the 148-yard no. 7 and the 188-yard no. 17 -- each require players to carry water. Pace of play here is better than average because of the player-friendly layout.

3/5 for sure. Not worth the price in my opinion. I probably wouldn't play here again unless I had to.

Great time
This will be my 6th time golfing. I shoot anywhere between 110-120, and on Saturday I shot 114.
I made sure my pace of play was manageable, and having 2 foursomes in front of us helped tremendously.
Saturday fees are a little steep for carts that don’t have gps’s, yardage help, or a plug in for speakers, etc.
I caught the gold fever earlier in the year for the first time and looking forward to breaking 100, then 90!

2nd time
I enjoyed a round of golf Saturday 11/30. Played with my brother and it took us exactly 4 hours to play all 18. Had a great time!

Good not great condition
I have not played here for over 5 years. The rates are about 2X as much. The staff and starter were very pleasant.
The fairways and greens were in great condition.
Some wet areas in front of some greens.
Seem to have each hole placed on a slope on the green.
Overall enjoyed the round.

Over It
This used to be my home course but there is no clubhouse to go back to and I don’t really care to go back until reno’s are complete. It sucks having to go into a giant mobile office. The course is completely overrated for the weekend rate because there are no amenities. It’s been over a year and the renos seem to be dragging. The course was in great shape and I love the challenge of the tighter fairway's on some of the holes. There are a few grip it and rip it holes with wide fairways but it’s overall a really fun play.
