About
The Club at Frisco Farms (formerly known as Plantation Golf Club) was created for the average golfer -- it's a user-friendly course where spectacular play is not required for a decent score. Playing only 6,400 yards from the tips and under 6,000 from the middle tees, the golf course isn't long, and it includes many par 4s that are nearly driveable. Erratic, careless play is punished, however, with out-of-bounds lining the fairways and water coming into play on a few holes. Those short par 4s in particular are all guarded by water. Two of The Club at Frisco Farms par-3 holes -- the 148-yard no. 7 and the 188-yard no. 17 -- each require players to carry water. Pace of play here is better than average because of the player-friendly layout.

Not Worth The Money
I have played this course a couple of times and this was probably the worst shape I have seen it in. Weeds everywhere, barely could tell the difference between fairway and rough. Tough to find your ball even in a good shot. The greens were just as bad. With the amount of rain we have had the course should have been much better shape; needs help with upkeep. I expect much better conditions for $70 dollars a round.
Never again - Don’t waste your money
I will never play here again. Lost golf balls in the FAIRWAY! Pace of play was horrible and so was the course conditions. All around terrible for $90+ on the weekend. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!

Poor management
Course conditions poor. Rained out back nine and didn’t give a rain check.

Plantation - Pricey, but Challenging.
Clubhouse going through renovations, so Pro Shop/Check In is in temp trailer. Very hot day when played, and only saw the beverage cart twice - needed it like four times.

Plantation Golf Course
My ratings are slightly tempered due to new construction… Amenities were limited and play was slow starting times were 6 min apart should be at least 12 with groups of 3 or more this of course added to the backups. No cart refreshments available… Too hot to not have your own ! Course was nicely set up enjoyed the tree shade along cart paths. We enjoyed the round. Should be a greatly improved experience once the clubhouse is finished!
Short course but great greens
Always a little muddy in rough and edge of fairways but greens roll nice and short fun 18 hole course. It is a little tight with all the houses surrounding it but trees help.

Better
Haven’t played this chorus in a long time. The greens are in much better shape than they used to be. We had bad rains the day before even so the fairways were in pretty good shape considering. Still a challenging course. They are still working on the clubhouse, which is not a big deal for me.

Getting Better!
Plantation has been in decline since 2009. While it's difficult to overlook the clubhouse that's been shut down (for the most part) since 2001 because the course spent about $0 on anything for years, my experience today was really good.
Brand new carts (it's about time) Fairways and greens in good shape. Saw the cart girl six times. Practice balls easily accessible. Pace of play was good.
I assume that with the upcoming Frisco Farms rebranding that they'll raise prices, but if they keep the course up, I suppose I'll live. Plantation has been a favorite of mine for years, and I hated seeing it continue to go downhill - I'm glad things seem to be turning around.

Great First Experience
Although the Clubhouse was a temporary trailer, it was a great course, great staff, and great experience! The greens were way better than the reviews left before. They were nice and soft compared to others filled with weeds. Only complaint would be the construction leaving a good part of the cart paths covered with mud (even if it had not rained the same week).
Overall this will be a go-to place to play for my group!

Absolutely horrible booking process
WORST experience. double booked and gave preference to the player that checked in later and offered me a time that was close to an hour later. will never play here again!

Solid course
Very nice course challenging but not to much lots of water but it doesn’t come into play much if you’re confident in your distances it was very fun.
