About
The Club at Frisco Farms (formerly known as Plantation Golf Club) was created for the average golfer -- it's a user-friendly course where spectacular play is not required for a decent score. Playing only 6,400 yards from the tips and under 6,000 from the middle tees, the golf course isn't long, and it includes many par 4s that are nearly driveable. Erratic, careless play is punished, however, with out-of-bounds lining the fairways and water coming into play on a few holes. Those short par 4s in particular are all guarded by water. Two of The Club at Frisco Farms par-3 holes -- the 148-yard no. 7 and the 188-yard no. 17 -- each require players to carry water. Pace of play here is better than average because of the player-friendly layout.

No carts and slow round
Tee time got delayed by 45 minutes due to the course being low on golf carts. Pace of play was slow and could not finish the round before sunset. Had. 12 noon tee time so should have been able to complete round before 5 pm!

Very wet around the greens. Had too many two- domes and singles which caused a backlog of groups. Had a twosome go around and jump in between groups which made things worse. Probably won’t be back

Great Friday round
Got on course 1p on a Friday. Luckily the course was in much better shape than the cart path only designation alluded to. Mckenzie was very active on the course, providing excellent service for the thirsty golfers out there.

Fun course
This is a fun course, not very long and the greens are all in good shape. It’s easy to get a tee time, disappointed with some of the fairways. Some patches of dirt that need attention, for a $40 round it’s perfect but I wouldn’t want to pay any more.

Not worth the money
Probably one of the worst course to play at especially at the price point. Conditions and greens are bad. This course should be half the cost

Staff
Staff member was rude to a couple guys trying to get beer, another staff member decided to yell at a 3 some because he was giving a lesson in middle of a par 5 in middle of busy afternoon. Not a good environment for players just trying to get a round in on a weekday....

Great course
It was a great course with a perfect layout. Would for sure head back here for the value of the tee times and the course. Only complain was 18 holes played and we didn’t see the cart girl once. Other than that it was a beautiful day of golf.

Fairways
They are repairing some greens and those are in good condition, but some fairways are very dry. This course was in better shape 2 months ago.

Takes 6 hours to play a round. Need Marshalls out there speeding people up
