About
The Club at Frisco Farms (formerly known as Plantation Golf Club) was created for the average golfer -- it's a user-friendly course where spectacular play is not required for a decent score. Playing only 6,400 yards from the tips and under 6,000 from the middle tees, the golf course isn't long, and it includes many par 4s that are nearly driveable. Erratic, careless play is punished, however, with out-of-bounds lining the fairways and water coming into play on a few holes. Those short par 4s in particular are all guarded by water. Two of The Club at Frisco Farms par-3 holes -- the 148-yard no. 7 and the 188-yard no. 17 -- each require players to carry water. Pace of play here is better than average because of the player-friendly layout.

Perfect weather at plantation
Not in the greatest of condition, but still enjoyed it. Pace was a little slow, but weather was great and like the gentlemen we were paired with. I like the layout, shorter, tight coursecwith small greens. Greens were good. A few holes are forced lay-up’s off the tee. May not help speed of play, but still fun. Par 3s are nice holes. I enjoyed. Could see that some do not.
Bad course conditions
The greens are in terrible shape. Can’t even put a ball straight. Bunkers are filled with rocks and has grass growing in them. They over book tee times and only separate you by 6 min. You will wait on every tee box. I wouldn’t recommend playing this for $70, there are a lot of better courses to choose from max

Course review
Glad to see them building to be better and FINALLY new carts. Plantation will be getting more of my game play in the future. Played this course 12 times last year. Hope to repeat this year.

Decent
I don’t think this is a $35+ course, max $30. The pace of play was awful.

I’m glad I only paid $20.
I’ve only played here 3 times, and this was the worst. Fairways are dead, puddles everywhere, and the bunkers were a joke. Tee boxes were okay, at least it had green grass on them. I really like the layout, this course makes you use every club in the bag, a real risk reward. If it ever comes back in shape I would definitely recommend this place, but what can I say it was $20.

Farirways are pretty poor. Greens are patchy. Pace of play was slow. No marshall. Could be a nice neighborhood course but needs money injected for improvements. It is what it is. A course you play when you cannot get on anywhere else. Should not pay more than $45 to play this course.

No carts and slow round
Tee time got delayed by 45 minutes due to the course being low on golf carts. Pace of play was slow and could not finish the round before sunset. Had. 12 noon tee time so should have been able to complete round before 5 pm!

Very wet around the greens. Had too many two- domes and singles which caused a backlog of groups. Had a twosome go around and jump in between groups which made things worse. Probably won’t be back

Great Friday round
Got on course 1p on a Friday. Luckily the course was in much better shape than the cart path only designation alluded to. Mckenzie was very active on the course, providing excellent service for the thirsty golfers out there.

Fun course
This is a fun course, not very long and the greens are all in good shape. It’s easy to get a tee time, disappointed with some of the fairways. Some patches of dirt that need attention, for a $40 round it’s perfect but I wouldn’t want to pay any more.

Not worth the money
Probably one of the worst course to play at especially at the price point. Conditions and greens are bad. This course should be half the cost
