Duck Creek Golf Course

The play was very back up today everyone had to wait 10 minutes or so just to tee off . There was one par five two group in the fairway one on the greens and one group in the tee bow waiting to hit with one more coming off the next greens. They had these big pipes all around the course . The tee box where all drying up and hard to place your tee in the ground. I was thinking about quitting but had nothing to do at home . So I wasted a good today here playing golf .

Lots of water to consider all around the course, greens were impossible to hold, fairways were too hard too, they need to aeriate and water to enhance the play, also a lot of construction going on at the course.

There is more grass in my grass-less flower beds then the Duck Creek tee boxes. Greens were rough as well.

We played on a beautiful Saturday afternoon but found the course conditions to be especially ragged - from tee box through the green. The course does have some interesting holes, and hopefully will see some big improvement in the condition now that spring has arrived. Practice area is lacking as well. Currently there's some utility construction (?) going on, causing some additional issues and detours. Sadly, I wouldn't recommend playing this course at this point.

I’m an easy guy to get a good review out of, but when your course is rubbish and you still treat customers like crap you’re going to get honesty. They must be going through some tough stuff at the moment cause they used to be great to deal with. Well, they’ve lost a customer now!

A lot of construction on the course...putting in pipes for something. Tee boxes are horrible. Fairways were thin. Greens were decent. Should have been a $25 round.

Wanted to play with a buddy and they had spots so we booked it. Yikes.

Not selling alcohol, only beer. Range is awful and the tee boxes aren't much better on the course. Fairways are minimally better than the range and tee boxes. The greens are horrible. You are better off putting with a hybrid than a putter. Slow is an understatement.

Two holes have makeshift tee boxes. Some construction around the course, but not much that interferes with the course.

One encounter with the "marshal". Group ahead of us was playing faster than us, but absolutely nobody was clipping us so not sure why he decided to warn us on pace of play. Kind of confused on that one.

Good choice for last minute tee times and fast pace. Conditions are average (at best) but still fun golf.

I think Duck Creek has had better conditions. Granted its Winter but there was a lot of construction going on. The tee boxes were in pretty bad shape and the fairways had little grass. I think they need a big investment to get it up to Sherrill Park standards. Garland City needs to put some money into it.

It was a fun course to play. The fairways are a little hard. Instead of being able to get a nice divid, you’re more likely to have to plow through clay. It can be a little tough on the back. A few recommendations would be more signs on the course giving directions to the next hole, more yardage markers on the course, and I played with a female, and there were no distances on the scorecard from the ladie’s tees.

Overall, I really enjoyed playing the course and will likely play it again in the future.

This course was not up to par. I’m not sure if it was the recent snow fall but no grass. There was major construction happening. Better signage is needed telling you where the holes are.

Overall I write this course three out of five stars. The driving range is terrible, completely filled with sand for your hitting surface. The layout of the course is too tight as many times there was golf balls heading towards us while we played. For the money I guess this course is worth it if you get itAt a decent rate

I played here 20+ years ago with my dad. Was a nice country club and now sad.

I would reccomend to a friend because today was a wreck due to a week of rain including misting today. Good news is I played slowly and left off 1st tee at 720am.

Sign on door says open at 645 but not open until 7am. Tee time was 708 when they normally wait for sunrise. Idd that time available.

They are working on course and on a dry day during summer look forward to trying again
