Great course but fairways weren't good from so much rain

Grass had not grown in on the fairways. Greens had been aerated day before

Great course will play again when the fairways are back to normal.

I played OakCreek yesterday 4/1/2022, the greens had been aerated with top dressing and we’re playing a little slow (which can be expected) but you could still putt without the ball bouncing. The rest of the course (fairways - still dormant, rough - coming in very nice, bunkers look amazing) is coming in very nice. The proshop has everything you can imagine and more. Brent , Evan, and James are doing an incredible job - they provide the best customer service money can buy. I would highly recommend playing OakCreek to anyone.

I’ve played Oak Creek a few times because it’s one the courses close to me that I enjoy playing. The course was in good shape during the winter, and I expect it to be in great shape in a few weeks. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. I’ve had a few buddies from out of town play here and they’ve all enjoyed the course.

I recommend it.

I brought three friends to play and we enjoyed the challenge. The greens were in great condition, and the bunkers were all raked. Though there was repair work on one hole we adjusted to the tee changes.

We can’t wait for warmer weather and the fairways to green up.

I have played here several times and has become one of our go to courses due to price and conditions and of course locality. I live in Alexandria and it about 30 mins drive to get here. As of 3/15 the third hole was still setup as a par 3 due to construction on the course. Course was still “brown” as the grass comes out of dormancy. Conditions are still good and will definitely be returning to play many more rounds here!

I used to live in Alexandria, Va for 7 years a long time ago. Never played this course until now. Played with a nice couple who owns a Korean Restaurant in Beltsville, MD. Great layout. Good pace. Conditions pretty good for early March. If I can get the same rate again, I will come back and play when I visit DC area next time.

The weather was problematic. I have been a Golf Now customer for years. But I was treated to what I considered to be excellent customer care on this date at Oak Creek in Bowie Maryland.

I was employed with Shell oil Company for 27 years, but this young man impressed me as a true golf and customer service believer.

I guess I didn’t truly

understand him until I saw him at the end of the round when he met us at our the cart return asked us how we enjoyed the round, truly customer focused.

I feel like an idiot for not asking his name. But hopefully I can help this by describing him as a well spoken mid twenties African American with a great attitude.

Understandably there was a slight delay due to some rain. However the group in front of us were taking an extra amount of time with their shots with much discussion in between. It slowed the entire place down to a snails pace. After the 9th hole we attempted to get some distance by going to the clubhouse for snacks and drinks. Only to drive to the 10th hole 30 minutes later to find them still on the fairway. First 6 hour game I have experienced yet. Place is beautiful and staff are friendly. Ranger needs to push pace a little better though.
