Nothing special
Course was just ok. Aerated within a week or so but not informed. No snack bar just canned drinks, snacks, etc. Boring layout. Best golf carts I’ve ever driven.
Fun day
Love that this course has lots of topography. Nestled in woodlands it feels like a day in the park!
WORTH IT!
The greens have been punched and top dressed. Since the weather stayed cool over the last 2 or so weeks, they are still a little bumpy. The course will green up and the greens will be running true again soon.
Grass had not grown in on the fairways. Greens had been aerated day before

Great course will play again when the fairways are back to normal.
Course is Looking Good
I played OakCreek yesterday 4/1/2022, the greens had been aerated with top dressing and we’re playing a little slow (which can be expected) but you could still putt without the ball bouncing. The rest of the course (fairways - still dormant, rough - coming in very nice, bunkers look amazing) is coming in very nice. The proshop has everything you can imagine and more. Brent , Evan, and James are doing an incredible job - they provide the best customer service money can buy. I would highly recommend playing OakCreek to anyone.
Great value
I’ve played Oak Creek a few times because it’s one the courses close to me that I enjoy playing. The course was in good shape during the winter, and I expect it to be in great shape in a few weeks. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. I’ve had a few buddies from out of town play here and they’ve all enjoyed the course.
I recommend it.
Challenging Course
I brought three friends to play and we enjoyed the challenge. The greens were in great condition, and the bunkers were all raked. Though there was repair work on one hole we adjusted to the tee changes.
We can’t wait for warmer weather and the fairways to green up.
Very nice course layout! Highly recommend!
I have played here several times and has become one of our go to courses due to price and conditions and of course locality. I live in Alexandria and it about 30 mins drive to get here. As of 3/15 the third hole was still setup as a par 3 due to construction on the course. Course was still “brown” as the grass comes out of dormancy. Conditions are still good and will definitely be returning to play many more rounds here!
