Oak Creek Golf Club

This is an excellent course and really enjoy playing at Oak Creek. The pace of play was a little slow, but not unbearable. We unfortunately picked a day when manure fertilizer was being spread. A little stinky.

All in all this is a don’t miss for golf.

It was my first time playing this course. I am a member at a private club in Canada, so my expectations are super high, which is no fault to Oak Creek. The course is awesome, definitely need to pull out all the clubs in the bag. Fairways were extremely spongey, so when using driver it usually just died. It was hard to tell the low rough from the fairway on certain holes. The greens are in decent condition however they were not the best. In my opinion, they ran extremely slow for being dry and the cut wasn't the best, and you could see weeds growing on them.

Overall I think this course is good, well worth the 40$ USD I spent. The course has room for improvement but with the weather it is difficult at times to manage.

This course is one of the best layouts I’ve ever played. It felt like I was the only person playing. There greens had a lot of ball marks that were not repaired. Maybe they should hand out free divot tools to help encourage players to fix their marks!

I took my father in-law here as he was down visiting us from Michigan. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by friendly and professional staff. Every single person we encountered at Oak Creek was polite, courteous, and very knowledgeable. My father in-law is an avid golfer and had a wonderful time on this course. I did too when I wasn’t in the woods looking for my ball. I can’t wait to come back and I will definitely be bringing all the golfers in my family here from now on.

This is one of the best places to play in the greater Metro DC / Annapolis area.

Staff is always courteous and on top of slow play to keep the pace on track for 3.5 to 4 hour rounds.

Pro is very attentive and eager to assist.

It was Labor Day and the weather was nice so I get it but, there were no marshalls on the course to help the speed of play. We had a threesome and gave up after 12 holes because we were at 3.5 hours already and it would have been a 5.5 hour round. We had to wait at the tee box at every hole. Once we decided to leave, we drove through the rest of the course and for each hole there were groups on the tee box, in the fairway and on the green. A waste of $80+ dollars per person.

This was my first here in over a year and the golf course was in EXCELLENT shape from Tee box to Green. This a MUST play, hats off to the grounds CREW and STAFF.

It was my first time playing at this course and enjoyed the beauty and level of difficulty.

Looking forward to more playing at the course.

Enjoyed the day. I have a handicap pass I use sparingly. My partner was 71 parks in the HC spot, asked for a flag. None given. The course was wet but wore my partner out. Due to the walking. Golf is for all ages. Not sure my partner will be back.

Nice course. A little pricey but worth it on a weekday.

Course was in great shape. Buddy and I were both new to the course and loved it, or most of it. No pace of play issues, solid cart, and nice staff. Lightning came down hard on the 12th and we had to call it a day. Staff gave us a raincheck, and I look forward to returning.

Very well kept course and in great shape for mid- August.

Fairways were well kept and greens play very fast. Course is very spread out between the well kept neighborhood. There is a lot of area between holes . Example distance between hole #1 & 2 was almost 1/2 mile. I would not want to walk this course.

Had a nice round. Conditions were decent. Greens were being aerated so could only expect so much

since covid 19, everything is off a bit.

the pro shop is easy to find. the employees are very courteous. the tee boxes are in great shape. the fairways are beautiful carpet like. and i found many in my abbreviated round due to a deluge of rain and lightning.

however, the greens had recently been punched. in the middle of summer is unheard of, i think. i'm used to early spring and fall, but summer, never. so take your 2 putts and move along.

if the greens were as good as they were 45 days ago, then the the rating would have been higher.

Greens were punched. If I had been made aware I could have gone somewhere else.
