Oak Creek Golf Club

Because of thick (what must be?) Bermuda grass, shots don't roll or bounce onto green as much as other courses in the area, and this took some getting used to. Course is in very good shape.

Excellent course and happy we braved the overcast day and occasional showers. Course handled the weather perfectly (my game didn't). I am a 15-17 hcp, and got fooled into thinking playing blue tees would be an easy task based on distance (6400 yds), but based on course slope and rating the green tee setup at just under 6100 yds is easily a good days work! Speaking of DISTANCE, course layout is enormous, NO WAY to walk this course. And based on the back 9, the OAK is NO JOKE.

The course was in good shape. The greens had been punched, but it wasn't a problem. Too many unfilled divots in the fairways.

Played a twilight round and the pace of play was excellent. The course was in great condition and the greens were fast. I will definitely be playing jere more often

Course was in great shape considering all the rain we've had. There was a tournament that morning and it was carts-in-the-rough only so pace of play was slow, but other than that it was a great round and the course looks great. Greens are a challenge, holes are laid out nicely, folks are friendly and the burger at the clubhouse was great. All in all a great time, especially for the price. I'll be back.

Fair track - different shapes - some holes more forgiving than others. Good changes in elevation on back 9 decent greens.

Nothing to be unhappy about here. Maybe tee-boxes are a 7/10 not horrible, but not country club (you're also not paying country club prices.

Course like most this time of year waiting for grass to grow on fairways, but all in all in good playing position.

This is a very nice course. The Bermuda fairways and tee boxes were dormant but in really good condition. The greens were OK for the winter. The course layout is really nice.

It was a sunny 60 degree winter day in January and I enjoyed the course and meeting up with very nice strangers. After a historic period of rain the course was understandably very wet, particularly the white tee boxes. This is a challenging course with very little roll in fairways in the winter. I plan to come back.

My suggestions: keep moving the tell box to spread out the locations used. With so many hidden turns, traps, and hazards a one-page layout of the course for newcomers would be helpful.

Made a tee time well in advance as I had family in town so we figured we could get out to play the day after Thanksgiving. Received an email the day I made the reservation saying they would be having a Black Friday tournament with prizes, etc. Perfect! Checked in with the pro shop only to be told to head out whenever. No tournament existed. No communication before, during, or after the round. Embarrassing. I have played here multiple times before and this may be my last as a result of the present situation and poor course conditions.

2nd time playing Oak Creek in the last few years. The 1st time, they had just re-opened and the course was still coming in to a finished product.

This time, I was blown away. The conditions were a 9 out of 10 with very very few things to nitpick. A very fun layout with a couple of friendly holes to start to the round which increase in difficulty throughout. You won't play at a crazy fast pace here mostly because how far apart some of the holes are. It's built around a very nice residential neighborhood but the houses never come into play and most are blocked by trees.

Greens were in excellent shape and even the ones that weren't pristine rolled very true. The fairways were all in very good shape and you were rewarded for hitting a drive down the middle. Tee boxes were clean and well kept as well.

I'd actually recommend Oak Creek over Lake Presidential which is right up the street. Better conditions, friendlier staff and a much more enjoyable round in my opinion. Can't wait to go back!
