Prairie Lakes Golf Course - Blue Course

When we arrived 45 minutes before our tee time. There was barely anyone on the course but close to 60 people waiting to tee off. They were using 2 sets of tees and we got off only 15 minutes late. Great job by the starter! It was though one of the longest rounds of golf. We saw a 7 player group...

Course was in pretty decent shape for it being winter and the grass being dormant,. The fairways were hardpan in a lot of areas, but it is kind of expected during winter play. The greens were in very goo condition and some were fairly tricky with pins being placed on small ridges on some holes. The driving range was pretty nice and the practice green is expansive. Overall a very good value for winter golf.

Paid for 4:15p tee time for 1i holes. Pace was very slow, by hoLe 5, we were told we can only play 9 holes since carts needed to be back by 7:20p

I've played here probably 20 times over the last 3 years. There are 3 nine hole courses and all of them have memorable holes. It is pretty cramped and your tee box will always be close to the last green. The course is usually in pretty good shape and the water makes it a little more challenging. It is a fun place to play when you're not looking to spend a lot of money on a round. The driving range, chipping area and putting area add to the value of the course. I recommend it.

Always play 3-4 rounds a year here. Good value especially via Golf Now hot deals...27 holes adds variety & fair risk reward opportunities..Only negative is no sand...

I play this course 2-3 times a month. It is always well maintained, and during the weekdays, its generally easy to get a walk-in tee time in the afternoon/evening hours. Great staff, good value for the $$.

One of my favorite courses in DFW. Wide and forgiving fairways, in excellent condition right now. The only thing I would improve is that the greens are too slow, but in great shape. Overall I love this course. Challenging enough and always in great shape. Staff was friendly and the brisket is incredible.

message for the other player- please repair your divot and ball mark on the green, the course heal quicker this way. first tee taught my son "WHEN BARROWING OR RETURNING ANYTHING, MAKE SURE IT'S IN THE SAME OR BETTER CONDITION"

I will be coming back to play again. I just wish there was cold water to drink around course. Water fountain was hot . There was no beverage cart either.
