Prairie Lakes Golf Course - Blue Course

Greens were very soft and held the ball well. We had three in our group and played in 3 1/2 hrs. Very pleased with the course. We played Red/White. I will continue to book tee times at Prairie Lakes. It's nice having 3 nines to choose from. I've played all three nines and each has its on characteristics and challenges.

Started on this course in 1990 and hadn't played it in years until now after moving out of the area. Fairways are tight, trees and water everywhere. What a wonderful, short test of skill. It's just a fun course and a serious bang for the buck.

The fairway was a little bit hard to play on November 15, 2014.

Both courses are in great shape. The greens are almost 100% better than when I played in the spring. They were very receptive to approach shots, rolled very true and had a fair speed to them. The fairways are in good shape but were pretty wet in some areas.

great pace of play. If you are near i would recomend it. Price is excellent.

The weather and course was great. Pace of play was great BBQ sandwich was good.

Course was in good shape and green were in excellent shape. The food is absolutely amazing.
With three courses to play the pace if play is 4 hours or earlier.

Greens and fairways in great shape.
If we could get everyone to fix ball marks on the greens it would be awesome!!
I guess that goes for all courses!! Golf etiquette is a must!!

I really enjoyed this course. I play Riverside and Golf Club of Dallas frequently and this course is up to par with both of them as far as course conditions. The greens were in good shape but slower then what I am used to. Had a great time and will go back often. I played the red and blue course and the views were awesome.

Prairie Lakes is I hidden jewel in the south of the metroplex. It has three nine-hole courses. And the largest putting greens in Texas . The greens are extremely good, the fairways are average and the tee boxes are good. Depending on which nine-hole course you play there is water and play. Mountain Creek Lake around to the side of the course.

My first time here. Course is in great shape. I had heard this was one to play and it did not dissappoint. Greens roll true. Not an easy, but not too hard to enjoy. It was big fun. We played the White & Blue course. Took 3:50 for 18 holes. Pace of play was good. The barbecue is second to none. Great day, great golf with friends. Ill be back soon.

For a beginner like me, this was a fun but challenging course at times. I would recommend you play the red and white holes. The greens were in good condition as well.

5th and 6th are centerpiece with water on both sides

Enjoyed the course, even in 102 degree heat. It was in good shape, with smooth but fairly slow greens, understandable given the heat. Traingle on the White Course was very hard. It's pretty tight, so either hit it straight or plan on hitting a bunch of punch 4 irons back into play. Will definitely play again. Plus, the brisket sandwich in the clubhouse was fantastic!
