Course was great for the cost. Carts were kind of annoying when you were looking for your ball. Overall great course!

The greens were patchy in a couple areas, but for the most part they were good. Bunkers in solid condition. Fairways in good condition. Tee boxes were a bit shaggy, need to be trimmed more often. The rough wasn’t really rough, many people might like that but personally I think if you aren’t hitting the fairway you need to at least pay a small price hitting it in the rough. No complaints on the course. Got a good deal and a discount from a promo code so it was worth the money, but I wouldn’t pay full price they ask. Can find other courses in the area for cheaper and better conditions

I’ve played Tangle Ridge for years. Although the greens are not as pristine as they have been in recent years, this is still one of the best all around courses in the area.

Pace of play is decent and holes are challenging yet accessible. Looking forward to play many more rounds here. Definitely worth the money... and the greens should be even better in a few weeks. The only downside is the bunkers. They are being worked on but the majority are unplayable at the moment.

My annual “looking for good greens” sojourn was rewarded at Tangleridge. The greens were quick and consistent throughout the course. Will be back

I have played Tangle Ridge many times. I like the layout and believe it’s a very fair test for players of all levels. The course is in very good condition. The greens were punched awhile a go and are almost back fully. Very playable though. I will give a high five to the gentleman in the Pro Shop. They were having an issue with the machine dispensing range balls. Instead of just blaming the problem on an uncontrollable circumstance he rode down and manually pulled balls for me. I really appreciated the great customer service and going the extra mile. We will definitely be back!

It's in great shape. The carts GPS is turned off and the course itself is poorly marked, so bring your own yardage device.

Only negative was the greens. They should be in great shape in about 10 days

I've played this course several times. Native Dallasite. Always in pristine condition for a public course. A best bang for your buck green fee and experience. I really like the layout - creative with plenty of risk-reward opportunities. It would be the perfect "home course" if I lived in the area. The staff are always top notch and in a friendly, playful mood.

I've been out here a few times and really like this course. There are a number of unique and beautiful holes. I also really like being able to hit all par 5's in two from the tips. Greens are normally very nice. Wind can be a bit of a factor, but that's expected. The views of the houses on the steep hills almost looks like California. Complaints, none really on the course. Think the snack bar should price shop other courses for beer selection and pricing. Think they would sell more bevs if their prices were more in line with others. Overall, I like this course and it is in my mix of courses to rotate through

March's weather can be very challenging in Texas, It can be extremely windy, cold and wet. On the day that my companions and I played Tangle Ridge, it was a beautiful, warm and sunny day. Nearly all of the grass on the fairways were still dormant but the trees had started blooming. It was a Friday afternoon and the pace of play was smooth and steady. For the most part, with the wide fairways, we easily found our balls and went on to our next shots. The challenge the course provided was the layout design for each hole, doglegs, severe doglegs and water hazards..Nothing too hard that we couldn't overcome. There were also some easier holes where all you had to do was to hit the ball straight. All in all, it was a most enjoyable day.

Haven’t played here in over a decade, which is my loss. Challenging course. Played with regulars which really helped on the strategy and saved me some strokes.. Course is in great shape and nice to play a course that has elevation changes . Bunkers are well maintained and creative in the way they have walled them with turf layers on the high sides. Only negative was the recent punching of the greens. But very much looking forward to playing It again after the greens have healed up a bit.

Would have given a 5 on course condition but greens had recently been aerated. Great layout

Greens were aerated but their website warned us and it is that time of year, they have made some bunker modifications that look more challenging, didn’t get to try those out. Driving range closed due to Covid, but that too is the norm right now. One of my favorite area courses!
