Maryland National Golf Club

My first time playing there,and I was enjoying very much. This golf course is must play one.

You do have to play it a few times so you know when and when not to use driver. Conditions are on par with Links at Gettysburg. Has some great risk/reward holes. Fairways in great shape. Bring your range finder for help on tee shots. Highly recommend. If you live in Frederick and are a golfer you are loving life with all the golf courses that are a 30 minute drive or less.

Course was in great shape as always, and the layout is enjoyable. Beautiful surroundings with lots of dramatic elevation changes. Fairway divots are getting out of hand due to no sand bottles on carts. Pace of play was totally unacceptable. We made the turn in 2.5 hours and finished at 5 hours. No ranger anywhere, and nobody said anything at the turn. I’ll definitely be back but may skip the weekend next time.

I was a single and matched up with a couple and another single. The course is an amazing layout and in excellent condition. There are a lot of fairway hills, sloping mounds, fast greens and no straight putts. I am glad I played the white tees, so I could have a chance to score. I left a lot of strokes on those greens. The starter told me that the greens all break to the river, that is great if you see a river or know where it is...LOL.

I look forward to coming back again and playing this course and scoring. I think the first time playing, it can be a little frustrating. The back seemed easier or at least I scored better on the back 9, put it that way.

All in all a great place to play golf, if you got game.

Tough but fair, hit them accurately or pay the price. In excellent shape. I had a little problem with holding the greens. But putted smoothly.

Our Father/Son 4some have been playing together through the COVID 19 and their senior year on way to college. Yesterday’s round at MD Nat was the final round (for now) and we all thought it was the best track we played! Top notch! Staff great. Course great! Great way to finish!

I travelled one hour 15 minutes to get to course. well worth it. beautiful layout, ,amazing scenery. great conditions. wish i lived closer.

Staff was exceptional, course layout is great. There was a good bit of rain, and the conditions were still pretty good. Really fun course!

Squeezed in between 2 foursomes and a 9-hole men’s league. So we were chased for the front 9. Back nine first of the 2 foursomes slowed considerably, we barely finished the round.

This is a very nice course, good variety in every hole. Greens were fast and in nice shape. This course is more expensive than I normally pay, but once or twice a year is worth it.

Course is always in amazing shape. Very fun and challenging. So many stand out holes on the course. Staff is very friendly from the pro shop, bar, and beverage cart. Always a joy to play and the scenery is beautiful.

Great course, pretty expensive though. Had maintenance working on almost every hole which was annoying.

MD National is always a challenging course. There are few flat lies but I always enjoy playing the course. It's in beautiful shape.

Playable course with enough challenges for all skill level players. Great layout, lots of topography and nice views. Always enjoy the round there
