Maryland National Golf Club

Maryland National is one of the prettiest golf courses in Maryland. Today was a bad day to play. It was freezing cold with 15 miles and hour winds. Was very surprised it was cart path only. The fairways were in great shape to accept cart traffic. The course was in good shape for this time of year. In the spring it will go back to being in excellent shape. Everyone should try to play this course. They also are the only course around that appreciates the military and first responders. They take 40% off their rates for these individuals. Must play.

Course was in great condition, amazing changes in elevation to most holes on the course. Definitely one of the nicest courses in Maryland.

Weather was perfect. Course was in A1 shape and we had no pressure. completed round in 4 hrs 10 min.

Cart path only due to rains yesterday but I needed the exercise.

The course is in reasonable condition but the play was very slow. There are many quirky holes that are poorly laid out. The course is very difficult which significantly contributes to the slow play... many lost balls with players holding up the pace of play. The staff is very unfriendly, some outright rude. In summary, the course is decent but too pricey for what you get. It’s not a good value in my opinion.

Have played here 4-5 times and each time is a joy. Usually wait until I can use some discounts due to the price. Challenging course but fair.

The course is in fabulous shape. Play was slow at 4 hours, 40 minutes. No apparent reason for slow play, all fairways were open. It would have been nice to have a marshall to speed up play.

We enjoy playing here about once a year. Played the Golds for distance and handicap. Some holes are just

not in my wheel house. Course is in good shape.

It’s a bit of a hike for me- well over an hours drive, but it’s worth it. The greens were great, and the course was in excellent condition

We got off early in the morning and didn't wait at all. Terrific layout with some very interesting holes. They were doing some re-sodding and except for a couple of tees the course was in great condition. Greens were in very good condition. We'll definitely play again when were in the area!

I have heard about this course from many people, and driven by and seen it off of I-70 (don't worry the highway noise does not affect the round). Lots of challenges, pretty much every Par 3 has a major elevation drop, which creates some unique challenges, and only one hole with water in play (which of course I put my drive into).

Highly recommend this course, it is a little out of the way for some, but worth it.

First time here playing and the staff (starter was excellent). Course was in excellent condition and very demanding on where to hit your shots, as golf should be. Loved the long par 3’s. Will definitely make a return trip back.

First time playing this course and WOW what a great course. Would have been better if I would have known the layout. Many blind shots and not sure where to hit the ball. The staff gave us a rundown prior to teeing off, but you forget what they said after the first few holes.

Get out and play this course you will not regret it!

Like mentioned before, pro shop was not overly friendly with everybody else was from the starter for the wait staff in the restaurant.

The golf course is is challenging as you want to make it based upon the tees you choose to play them. I played on a day where they had had a tremendous amount of rain the day before so it was cartpath only which makes it much longer to walk because of all the up-and-down. I thought it was challenging however there were a couple tricked up holes. I would certainly play it again if I find myself in the area
