Great course and conditions
Beautiful layout with great elevation changes. The greens and fairways were in great shape given the recent drought conditions in the Wheeling area. The greens rolled true and checked up great. The blue tees are really challenging. The pace of play was really slow (5:20 to play 18) due to the course being fully booked on the day I played. Expect a long round but you’ll be able to enjoy it and the beautiful scenery that it offers. The staff was excellent and the drinks and food are really reasonable. Definitely put this on your list of courses to play.
Poor quality for the price
This course is living in the past. They will not improve the course and think that we will come just because of their name. Staff on the course are friendly. Pro and staff inside are pompous jerks. Course needs a lot of work. We came down with 12 golfers and they double booked tee times? We wont be back. BE CAREFUL!
Played on Easter Sunday
Cart Paths need improvement bunkers are ok nobody rakes them might as well make them grass awesome layout super fun place
Playing on Easter
Cart path need help bunkers overall it’s a decent corse better signage and cheaper rates its becoming way to expensive
Amazing...
Amazing condition after last summers drought and a extremely cold winter. 5 stars.
Great at a discount
For the deal I was able to get this at it was a great course to play. Plays long for me, but very fair. Course is always in a good shape. The only problem is that regular rates have skyrocketed to $119-$129 and for locals that just isn’t worth it. I’ll play it again at a discount but last year was the least I had played it in the last 5 years. Probably only twice if memory serves me right. Need to make it more reasonable for the locals who could carry the income for the course.
Greens
Beautiful course! Love the layout I just would have appreciated it if they would have let me know that the greens were aerated and sanded. I could have waited a couple more weeks. Really disappointed about the greens.
