About
Clear Creek Golf Course is a flat, wide-open links-style track loaded with water and bunkers. The only sort of elevation changes you'll experience come from the ravines that route through the course and the undulating greens.
The back nine is the more challenging, spiced up by some interesting par 3s and two outstanding par 5s. Clear Creek's 11th hole goes 555 yards and involves an approach over a ravine, and No. 13 is a 584-yard monster that double-doglegs to a skinny green framed by bunkers.

A wrage
The greens were in good condition. A lot of the tee boxes had patchy grass or were messed up. Fairways were ok.
It’s fine for a round of golf but I won’t go back.

Slow play and club house chexk in attitude
Need marshal to push slow players. Not a friendly staff at the club.

Course needs attention
The new greens are excellent and a huge improvement. Unfortunately, they are already starting to show damage from unrepaired ball marks, which is disappointing to see.
That’s where the positives end. The tee boxes are mostly bare. Miss the fairway and you're likely to find yourself on dirt or crabgrass. The pace of play remains to be horrendous.
The value is just not there. At its current condition, this is a $40 course on a good day.

Slow Paced on Sunday Afternoon
Pluses: very good greens, fairways and tee boxes were decent, bunkers had real sand in them (although not everyone is raking as they should).
Minus: pace of play was horrible, starting on #8 basically waiting on every tee box to tee off.

Good greens, but a bit overpriced
The course is in much better shape than years ago -- they've done a great job refreshing the greens course-wide. It's a forgiving layout with some fun risk/reward shots. It's still a bit overpriced for weekly golf.

Nice Greens
As stated in other reviews, the greens are nice and roll as fast as some of the nicer courses in the area. The bunkers look to have been redone also since I played there last summer. If all people are complaining about is the tee boxes (which do need some work), then the course itself must be pretty good!
Overall I wouldn’t play here except on a hot deal, as it isn’t an $80 course, but it’s a great layout and always a solid choice.

Could not be worse attitude from the staff
We are over an hour tee time pushed because a little bit of fog. The pro shop staff was rude and upset with everyone who asked what we could do. Bad staff behavior and rude. Especially the black haired kid behind the counter.

We take concerns about our staff’s behavior very seriously, and your feedback has been shared with our management team to ensure this is addressed. Safety and customer service are top priorities, especially during weather-related delays, and we regret that we fell short during your visit. Disappointed
I've been playing this course for more than 25 years and even though they've had they're ups and down with course conditions and greens, as many courses have had, it's concerning that they receny invested in new greens but now the tee boxes and parts of the fairways have suffered. There were bare spots and weeds on tee boxes. Some fairways also had some type of weird weed or grass growth.(sorry, no pictures) The new greens roll pretty well but they are not very receptive. I'm guessing that will come with time since they just did them in October but I'm not knowledgeable enough on the greens keeping process so I can only hope. It's unusual to not find any ball marks on approach shots and you have to account for much more bounce and run from different types of shots. I like that they have cleared away a lot of the trees, bushes and marsh throughout the course and have kept the rough short to increase pace of play. Always a fun course, because of the layout, but without the Golfnow discount, I probably would never pay the price they are asking without it. I hope things improve in tbe upcoming months.
