Clear Creek Golf Course
About
Clear Creek Golf Course is a flat, wide-open links-style track loaded with water and bunkers. The only sort of elevation changes you'll experience come from the ravines that route through the course and the undulating greens.
The back nine is the more challenging, spiced up by some interesting par 3s and two outstanding par 5s. Clear Creek's 11th hole goes 555 yards and involves an approach over a ravine, and No. 13 is a 584-yard monster that double-doglegs to a skinny green framed by bunkers.

Extremely slow play
COurse was not in good shape at all and the pace was terrible 6 hours...
Peaceful , verdant atmosphere close to city.
Clear Creek golf course is one of the few courses around Houston that has no homes on it, just fields and forests. It is beautiful. The greens were awful though. They had just been sanded and were uneven.
Awesome staff, greens still recovering from the freeze
Fun layout with lots of risk-reward plays. Fairways playing long and fast (if you can hit them!), and Zach and Sean were super friendly and helpful to make sure the round was enjoyable. Great value for the course!
Clear Creek
Great course for the money. Well kept up and staff was helpful and friendly.
Greens
The greens are about the only thing missing on this course. Poor management obviously lead to this situation. Also, the golf carts were missing windshields, and with close fairways, there were a few close calls. Beside that, the course has great potential with a little more TLC to be a great track. I had not played since February and really thought conditions would have improved with the recent rain and sunshine. But no, the greens were basically unplayable. We either took drops for our putts to sections of the greens that were still grass, or we took our chances on the rough terrain. I will not play her again until I see reviews that things have improved. There are simply too many choices in the Houston area with no issues with the greens, to bother coming back here anytime soon. If you’re just starting and green conditions don’t matter to you, this is a great option. If money is involved or playing toward your HCP, avoid this course.
Course needs work
I would not pay again 60+ dollars to play course because greens suck really bad I was playing with guys not from here and they were very upset with price too I think this course should be at least $35 to 40 till u get greens right
John
The greens are in terrible shape. No surprise there are not so many players. Not a good course for over average player. Played 18 holes in less than 2 hours. There are no no to putt as greens are bad at the moment.
As long as you aren’t serious at golf
Worst greens ever. Surprise water to lose water all over, not maintained well. Don’t recommend if you actually care about a score
course needs some work
The greens were gone after the freeze - like putting on the parking lot.
Greens - no bueno
If you don't make your first putt, its not worth trying a second or third. The greens are devastated from the recent freeze. At least I am assuming that this is the reason.
Horrible conditions
This course is in a terrible condition. After talking to the guys I played with, this course has always been in terrible condition. The greens are completely dead and like playing plinko
