Clear Creek Golf Course
About
Clear Creek Golf Course is a flat, wide-open links-style track loaded with water and bunkers. The only sort of elevation changes you'll experience come from the ravines that route through the course and the undulating greens.
The back nine is the more challenging, spiced up by some interesting par 3s and two outstanding par 5s. Clear Creek's 11th hole goes 555 yards and involves an approach over a ravine, and No. 13 is a 584-yard monster that double-doglegs to a skinny green framed by bunkers.

April 6
Greens are gone
Bunkers were good
Overall course needs to be invested in
Poor Greens
The greens were in poor condition. They were mostly weeds, almost no Bermuda.
Winter Storm Damage
It seems that the greens have been greatly damaged from the past cold weather freeze.
This course is dying from neglect!!
Fairways are ok but fast due the grass being so sparse. Greens are plagued with weeds. Course design is amazing and is a shame the condition of the course. Clubhouse has exterior fans in disrepair overall the place is not maintained. Really breaks me to write this review. Clear Creek needs to make some decisions $35 is way to much to pay for greens that send your ball hooping off line every five feet and fairways that give you 50yds more rollout you don’t deserve. I would pay $28 tops
In Need of TLC
This course has great bones. The layout is great, but it is in serious need of improvement from tee to green. Bare fairways and greens in poor condition.
Needs work
The golf course is a good layout but the course conditions are terrible.
Golf Day with my Bro
The greens were rough - given the freeze and weather, not a surprise. So it'll be several weeks for some of them to come back. I like the track...
Greens are rough
The course layout is interesting and fun but the greens are not worth the price at all. Staff was friendly and the food was good. Just need to get the greens under control and speed up the pace of play.
Decent Public Course
For 40 bucks, I have played better kept courses for less but not in Houston. Otherwise, its not a bad course and I enjoy it. I would love to see tapped beer and even a decent bar on the 19th hole. Don't get me wrong. I'll come back, but this is what I feel would make it better.
Golf in Houston
The course hasn't recovered from winter activity and most of the greens were full of poa annua patches after the recent freeze killed the greens. Also, some of the tee boxes were ground up pretty bad too. The good thing is that the fairways were good enough to launch your shots comfortably with irons or metal woods. The pin placements were evil on several greens on the front nine, so don't expect to kill it on the greens putting during your round.
Putting on pea-gravel
Greens are in terrible shape. Used to play here quasi regularly years ago and it was always well kept. Not worth the money, lots of better options out there.
