Clear Creek Golf Course

The course was overall nice, but they had five greens messed up and sanded, which I have seldom seen here.

Great course for the big drivers. Greens need some love on spots where the ants have attacked the ground underneath the grass. There was some water to avoid but manageable.

This course is always a great layout but unfortunately today alot of the greens were sketchy at times. But overall never disappointed playing here. Thanks for a great day.

Front 9 green we probably the worst greens I’ve played on. Absolutely terrible conditions. Back 9 pretty bad but better. Course layout was nice and, course was okay. But greens need to be better.

Tees hadn't been mowed in a while. Like teeing off in the rough.

The greens have seen the effects of a wet first half of the year. Lots of dirt, not full of grass.

Good to play during Mon. Thru Thurs. Not so much F,Sa. Su.

The price they charged and the condition of the greens was unacceptable.

Tee to green is nice, but greens need a lot of love. The greens are the worst in the area.

It had rained heavily the evening before. The course drained well. 13 greens were in fair to good condition. 3 poor condition and 2 basically unplayable.

Fairways were above average to good and tee boxes were overall good.

Open layout allows play for an errent tee shot off of the adjacent fairway.

We played this course yesterday and except for a few greens it was really in great shape. Very nice course so we will be back.

We were very excited by the Sunday afternoon twilight deal. That's about where the fun stopped.

Guy in the pro shop had an attitude from the get-go. We paid for a medium bucket, but then he tells us the medium baskets are out and we'll have to wait. Can we use two small buckets? It's the same amount of balls. No, you'll have to wait for more medium buckets. Seven minutes later, still no buckets. Fine, we'll just use a small bucket.

We are at our 2:06 tee time three minutes early, and there's four groups ahead of us. Four! We ask the starter if they're running behind, he say's "no." Two of the groups have five members, he doesn't care. I tell him we are nearly 20 minutes past our tee time, he says we're only 5 minutes past and it's not a big deal. No apology, just a cold "don't care" lie and stare.

We wait for five minutes on every hole. Half of the greens have more un-repaired divots than I can count. We barely finish 18 holes in the dark.

Course was good for what we paid, but staff was absolutely terrible. Really detracted from the experience.

I've been visiting Houston about 1/2 dozen times over the past year and have only had the opportunity to play golf twice. Both rounds at Clear Creek. It's a very nice facility. Course is definitely challenging. Pricing is great. I'll be back again. Temperature was in high 60's. Back home in Detroit it was in the teens. This is better!

great to how hey have addressed the pace of play (clocks on the course). Greens not what they usually are but the weather has been bad.

The greens rolled fast and smooth, sand traps maintained and fairways really good. Pace of play was slow for a weekday but not as bad as a weekend. Enjoyed the course. Staff is really friendly.

Our TEE time was 11:50 am. As we go to the first tee we see about 20-25 golfers lining up to tee off. There was NO MARSHAL or STARTER at the first Tee.. Looks like they sold non existent tee times to this group of 25 just to make money in the middle of prepaid tee times: it was unbelievable. Never such chaos. We finally pushed our way in the middle of that group of 25 only to find out that they were all teeing off in groups of 5 and playing for money or something at snail pace:: We couldn't finish 18 holes and had to finally give up and leave after wasting 5 hours. HORRIBLE management with no excuse :(

Overall for December the course was in good shape.

Greens were FAST and fairways firm despite recent rain.

The Hot Deal made this a great bargain.
