Clear Creek Golf Course
About
Clear Creek Golf Course is a flat, wide-open links-style track loaded with water and bunkers. The only sort of elevation changes you'll experience come from the ravines that route through the course and the undulating greens.
The back nine is the more challenging, spiced up by some interesting par 3s and two outstanding par 5s. Clear Creek's 11th hole goes 555 yards and involves an approach over a ravine, and No. 13 is a 584-yard monster that double-doglegs to a skinny green framed by bunkers.

Great price
Great course for the price. I will be playing there again.
slow pace
very slow pace
no marshal
we started at 4:30 and only played 9 holes
the course was stacked up and no one around to speed it up
Good Value course
Course was in good condition. Greens had some spots that could use some work, but not bad for a course that never really closes.
Good upgrades
Good course and challenging on windy days. Great upgrade to sand traps!!! Alway enjoy this course.
Greens Horrible
The course is in terrible shape. The greens are terrible.
Charge me taxes
Clear Creek golf course charge me taxes on the amount that I was paying. But the confirmation said I only owed the golf course 20.00 dollars but I paid 21.75. I didn’t understand how they can charge me taxes and GolfNow gets a fee for me booking it thru the website. If the website says you only owe the course a certain amount then that’s what I should have been charged.
Good course for the cost on Fridays
Played this course several times. A bit over booked as pace of play is somewhat slow. Some greens have some weeds on it, caused some putts to be off line.. Construction on course, repairing sand traps and adding some more traps. Good layout and some challenges especially if played from the back tees. Overall, good course for the price on Fridays.
Check in Person Reservation Denied Golf at Reservation Listed Time
Wanted to play 36 on this MLK Day. Nobody at Southwyck Pearland to play with..Drove to Clear Creek....Pearland.4 miles away.
clerk said I had no reservation.. Again Golf now closed on MLK day.. I played 18 at 8:50 a.m.
Conversations with Dakota (Said he was supervisor and has not called me) back)and Chip frustrating. On phone today one hour Chip never called back or came back to phone as i was on hold again for an hour. Played Clear Creek Sunday sharing problem.written scenario of denial.per reservation.. Golf Now and Clear Creek owe me an apology, money back and considerations and inconvenience..Their bad handling of scenario..
Always backed up
This is like my 5th time playing here and it’s always backed up at each hole. Even after pairing up with someone from the start, you are waiting 10+ minutes to tee off. At one point we could not move from the green to the next tee because there were two groups right in front of us, with group behind us one shot from the green
Clear Creek
The course was in great condition for the rain, I thought it wouldn't be very busy but it seemed like their was a very large group slowing play 2 foursomes ahead of our group. at the turn it got very bad with a 4 group wait at every tee box. when we finished our round it became apparent that their was a sevensome (7 people) playing in one group. no wonder the pace of play was so poor. definitely should've been a marshal to stop that.
I'm Happy in Houston
First time on this course. I liked it a lot. I'm coming back to Houston in a couple of weeks and want to play Clear Creek again.
Nice Course
Course was in great condition, friendly staff, I was a single and played through several groups.
The only negative was the joggers, bicycles and non players riding around. Once you learned to look out for them the round was fine.
Great Staff, good course, slow, slow play.
Love the course, links style lots of challenges. Bunkers are not playable due to #Harvey. The only real problem is pace of play. Slow, slow play in the evenings. Started around 12:45 and barely finished.
Short, Accurate Course!
I played clear creek this past weekend on a pretty windy day. Bunkers were in terrible condition (played as GUR), if you couldn't get in the fairway good luck finding your ball it is a goner. Very short course with short par 5s and 4s. Greens are fast and have lots of break, definitely a challenge. Fun course all in all, hit to the 150 stick and then a nice 8 iron on to the green for some capable birdie putts. Easily a sub 4 hour course but the pace of play was ridiculously slow, finished at about 5 and a half hours with nothing but twosomes in front of us (three players). No marshal out on the course so when we made the turn at 9 a twosome jumped in front of us after coming off of 18 then invited us to play 4 holes in to the back 9. Can't blame bad golfers for the course, but the course needs to take some pride and have some control out there. Best part of the day was when we paid for our tee time we got a free sleeve of golf balls "just for playing at the course" and a free drink ticket for a beer or soda.
The fee is for the service golf now gives for booking the tee time, the tax is what everyone would pay even if they didn't book through golf now. Look into GolfNow VIP and the booking fees are free.
