Clear Creek Golf Course

i love to play this course. greens are excellent and pin locations are challenging. strategy is critical to scoring.
also, the best practice putting and chipping green in the area.

Started by teeing off about fifteen minutes behind. The pace was so slow that we only played 9 holes and left even though wee paid for 18.

75 degrees, no wind, and not a cloud in the sky. Course was in good condition. Tall grass makes the course more difficult than it looks... Bring extra balls. Pace of play was pretty slow, as there was a 5some in front of us and never offered to let us play through.

Only knock was tees were delayed 20
Minutes for undisclosed reasons and pace was slow (5hrs). Facility was amazing and will play again

This is by far the very best deal in Houston. The course is always in top condition, Greens are nice and the cost to play can't be beat. Went out for the first time in June and have been out at least once a week since that first visit. This has become my "Home" course! If you get out once, I know you will feel that same way about Clear Creek! The best deal in Houston!

I have been playing this course for years and its a average course. The ground us usually hard and if you get in some of the short rough its like hitting off of concrete. Overall its a fun course and is a challenge. I like them because they allow juniors to plan (my son) for free in the evening. We play this course atleast 2 times a month

Had a good round, course in great shape, staff was friendly.

I have not played this course in years and was really looking forward to playing it. Unfortunately, poorly kept greens made the round not so enjoyable. They were not groomed properly and we constantly had to "clean" a path just for the ball to have a decent approach to the hole. Some holes had complete chunks of turf completely gouged out of them and they weren't even marked by the greens keepers. For $66 dollars, which isn't much at all, I could have played other courses in the vicinity that are definitely in much better shape and overall better courses for the money. Would I recommend this course overall, yes because the layout is not bad but course management needs to get much much better if I am ever to play there again.

Very disappointed in paying a weekend price and was never told that the greens had be punched and sanded.

Rates not bad during the week but wow weekend mornings bring the bank

Always have a great time at this course. The course is in great condition and the greens are true. Only complaint was running into 5 sums, really slowed play.

Pace of play was terrible. We had a 7:58 tee time and were stuck behind back to back 5 somes. There was no Marshall around to keep them moving at a good pace.

No complaints about this course, Good condition all around and very fairly priced.

Staff seemed like they didn't care about anyone. Did not feel welcomed.

Good fairwaiy and quick green. The gps and really accurate which makes this one of my favorite courses in Houston.

Clear creek is always in good condition. There is usually not a Marshall to keep the pace of play moving. A five hour round on the weekday is not unusual. Too many slow playing 5-somes. Also, the high grass rough is a real slow play magnet. Need to monitor the pace of play and cut the rough down so we can play the ball where it lies.

The fairways were in good condition and the greens were usually true. The design lacked imagination and adventure. Straight with a couple of traps, and a few trees.
Not much in sloped fairways, elevated tees or greens, there is some water to avoid but what course doesn't have water to avoid. Not a single hole required a certain challenging carry. Not one hole forced you to shoot down a tube of trees. Nothing there to "get into your head" while you stand over your tee shot.
It was a nice afternoon of golf but I went away bored - not talking about "that one hole that....."
I won't rush back.

Got a great deal at 70% off, because it was a 2 pm tee time and it was 95° outside. The course was in great condition and the beverage cart came by often. Overall fun time.
