About
Pearland Golf Club opened in 1982 after Jay Riviere was brought in to build the course as the centerpiece of a residential development for senior citizens. Mike Hoelzer rolled through in the late 1990s for a redesign on this fairly basic 18-hole golf course. The short design features generous fairways and prominent bunkering around the undulating greens. Lakes and ponds have been added over the years and impact play on most holes. Trees have also been added over the years to spice up the flat, prairie-like course.
No. 9 is one of the toughest holes, a 440-yard par 4 that doglegs and has water. No. 16 is considered Pearland's signature -- a 554-yard par 5 that also doglegs and has water in play.

Fun day
Fairways were a little hard. Overall good condition. Greens were fast.
This course has great features
Very tight play I am super senior do not hit it long good iron course
Nice course
Course was in good shape. Except for the storm the night before and having to be on the cart path only, everything was good.
Wow
I recently moved to Houston from Florida and this course is very reminiscent of many layouts found in Florida. The course has a lot of character. You have water in play on several holes, fairways are tight, and you have to shape your shots both ways. Surprisingly, the greens were very nice for this time of year. I've been searching for this type of course and I've found a hidden gem. I will definitely be back!

Good round - would have liked to have seen a starter
The course was a little wet but not bad. Greens were a little slow but true, Fairways and tee boxes were perfect. They did not have a starter so we had to guess when we were up but we did get off a hair before our booked tee time (others were milling about - hope we didn't cut in front of anyone - starter would have been helpful).
Fivesomes!!
Like the course. Challenging with lots of water. Course in great condition. Bunkers nice fluffy sand. Greens in good shape rolling well. Pace was a problem they let 5somes out ahead of us slowed to a screeching halt!! Over 5 hours!!
Hidden jewel
I hadn't played this course before and was pleasantly surprised. It was in excellent condition and I had a great time. The fairways are a little tight sometimes with houses lining both sides so hit em straight!
Great greens, layout fun and challenging
This course has something for everyone.
I am a single digit handicap, so always start with condition of the greens - they are really great.
Layout is great with lots of opportunity for risk-reward shots, so if your game is on, you can go low, but the risk side of that chance will eat your lunch if you miss your target !
Greens are a bit tough, but that makes you want to come back after gaining some course knowledge.
Course was great to play and challenging
The course was in a good condition and held up to the constant different weather conditions all week. Staff is friendly and approachable. Good challenge for a golfer of my skills and will humble you if you get to aggressive with your game. I would recommend this course to all golfers.
Value and surprize
Well kept and challenging. I really liked the cart GPS. Will play again and tell friends about this hidden treasure.
Interesting coarse layout
This was my first time playing this coarse. I found to be challenging and well laid out . It meanders through the neighborhood and the carts are really automated. I will definitely play it again .It was well worth the price .Staff was very friendly and professional.
Great Deal!
I had a $10 voucher, so I was able to get my round of golf half off! Never played here, and if I lived closer, I would play here a lot more often. It has some challenging holes, but nothing your average golfer can't handle. Solid layout design as well! My brother and I even stopped to get food mid-round, and we don't normally eat at golf courses, but I'm sure glad we did! I look forward to coming back here!
