Great course, with some very challenging holes.
Course was in great condition. Played well on a windy day. Some hard holes 2nd and 3rd.
Overall enjoyed my day out.
Brilliant, Tricky Course
A fantastic first 4 holes, very tricky and tight and enjoyed the challenge they provided. Course opens up after that and allows for a nice score for lower handicap players. Would really recommend if you fancy a round somewhere new as greens were fantastic and the staff are brilliant and very accommodating.
Poor, pro shop and organisers unhelpful. Held to ransom
We signed up for the golf mixed open at Bewdley Pines on 1st June 2025.
We booked a buggy because my partner and I have severe back problems and unable to play without a buggy.
We were told over the phone that it would be £18, so I booked one.
When I got to the course and went to get my buggy I was told it would be £30 not £18, the pro shop were disinterested and unhelpful (it was there mistake over the phone).
I said that I was going to withdraw from the competition and went to speak to one of the organisers.
When I stated the problem and said I was going to withdraw even though we had travelled approx 1.5 hours to get there and it was the club's fault.
Rather than them trying to be helpful as it was the club's fault, I was told that I would not get my entry fee back (£30 that I had paid in advance) because it was the day of the competition.
Therefore we were held to ransom by the club. So rather than losing my entry fee and letting down my playing partners, I had to pay the £30 for the buggy.
An extremely bad experience
A very poor show on behalf of the pro shop and the organisers who were totally disinterested. Last time we play there

Slow play and to busy
We teed off at 3.40 as a 2 ball and it took us 1 hr 45mins to play 4 holes. Every hole was backed up with atleast 3 groups so we walked in it was a joke. If we were to carry on playing we would have had to contact someone to bring some temporary lighting out as we’d probably finish at midnight. What didn’t help aswel that most golfers playing weren’t golfers and should never be on a course like that. Won’t be playing it again I’d rather pay and watch paint dry for 9 hours
Lovely place to play golf, always in great condition especially in winter when most places are very wet. Great layout and some very picturesque views on the back 9. Only issues was the width of the flagsticks which wouldn’t allow a ball to drop into the cup if travelling more than 1mph. Otherwise a great place to play golf.
Nice course
Used hot deal so paid just £22 each for a 2 ball on a Tuesday 1.42pm tee off . Short course, well maintained & nice combination of woodland, some water/pond features & contoured/sloping fairways making for some more interest/challenge. Some slow play experienced but didn’t spoil our round but no time left to use the bar facilities before heading home!
A strange one 🤔⛳️
The first six holes…..what a delight and a good test. The 4th especially is the lovliest but trickiest hole you will find anywhere. Then you hit the 7th and somebody has nicked all the trees, and it’s a sea of nothingness, just a bunch of boring holes on a sloping field. It’s as if the course architect used all his magic for the first 3rd and lost his mojo for the rest. Also, some holes are dangerous as your drive is likely to injure someone, as a few holes are very close to others. The layout needs a re-think. Finally, the greens were very bumpy. I know it’s March, but other courses around are in much better condition at this time of year.
Slow, Slow and Slow
Basically there was a society day in front of us - about 8 lots of 4 who were painfully slow. The guys behind us had enough after 9 and went home - don't blame them. These courses really should advertise that they have these type of days on before taking your money,
The course itself didn't really look that cared for, greens fine but the tees and the general tidyness of the course not that great. I suppose the course is secondary these days as long as they are coining it in with society visitors!!
Deferred 4 ball at this special course
Because of the wet weather in the UK, this Hotdeal round had been twice deferred.
First thing to say is that the Pro Shop Staff have been superb in dealing with the situation.
Unlike many Clubs, these guys actually care and have made us feel very welcome.
This course is known for its superb drainage and although our previous two rounds had been cancelled because of very heavy rain, it drains supremely well there are not many wet patches compared to other courses in the area. A pleasure to play.
We all loved the very quirky first six or seven holes. The others were fine.
We will definitely go back and play again.
Decent course but unfriendly pro
I have played this course many times and it is enjoyable to play. However the pro is unhelpful and unoccommodating and is always the same. - shame really - stops me wanting to become a member.
Busy, but not bad
Societies in front feel like they own not just the course, but golf in general.
Get a move on!
Unique and interesting challenge!!
Interesting challenge. The first few holes are quite tight and present a unique test. After that the course opens up and provides a fair test of golfing ability. We enjoyed the challenge. After golf we were well looked after in the bar and all in all we really enjoyed our day at Bewdley Pines.
Interesting Course
The course is in decent condition. If anything some of the Tees could be slightly better saying that the majority are fine.
The greens are decent and the layout pretty good (hardly any parallel holes which I find boring). Looks a decent 19th hole. Would recommend.
Far too busy and slow. Shame as course looked amazing
We booked a later tee time to avoid a busy period. When we arrived there was 3 groups in front of us only 12 minutes before our tee-time. By the 10th is had taken 2hrs 20 mins. So the 4 of us gave up as simply not enjoying waiting.
Reall shame as the pro there was a absolute gent and the course looked amazing. But waiting on every shot is no fun.
Good test
Enjoyable course. First 4 holes are tight but after that it opens up. You can score well if your games on. Would recommend.
