Friendly Golf Club
Everything about this club is excellent and thoroughly recommend a visit.
Junior Event
Basically have played here quite a few times but this time there was a junior event on so basically wrecked it. They all had their parents with them and they seemed to take over the whole course and in the end we just came off. The guy gave us a credit for nine holes but it didn't really make up for a wastes afternoon. Advise check there isn't one of these on before booking otherwise take your sleeping bag!
Course is cracking but don't book through GolfNow
As stated in the subject don't book 18 holes through GolfNow. This course is 27 holes (3x9's) so I have booked an appropriately spaced round on two of the courses for Saturday morning. On arrival, whilst the staff were pleasant and attempted to be helpful, we were stuck playing the same course twice which was disappointing. I can not clearly be 100% that this was the fault of the platform but better to call to discuss given their coordination between courses. Left there feeling a bit miffed to be honest.
Great Golf
The course is in excellent condition in all aspects.
Its always joy to play Cleobury and relax in a friendly and most welcoming place.
Recommended
The course is now in excellent condition and must say its the best i can remember over the last 15 years.
Its always a pleasure to play Cleobury and appreciate a friendly welcome from all associated with the club.
Very good parkland course
Course consists of 3 sets of 9. They are all pretty good with variation of holes. Course seems to be pretty well looked after. Played many times, would join if lived closer.
Recommend
Always a friendly welcome by all.
The course is a challenge for all levels of golfers.
The course is starting to improve after the winter.
There appears the green keepers have been working hard on the course, but really needs the summer weather to really improve the general condition.
Top class winter course
Loads off parking
Lovely little pro shop
Staff very helpful and friendly
For winter courses are in great order especially the greens
Little bit wet under foot but to be expected
One little gripe couldn’t get a hot drink at the end of my round maybe not looking hard enough
First round at Cleobury
Really enjoyed playing at Cleobury, I played both the foxes and the badger courses. Both were in great condition, especially the greens. I played on a busy Monday but the pace of play was great and I completed 18 holes just under 3.5 hours. Would definitely recommend and will be playing here again.
A challenge
Played foxes and Deer. Greens were good but some were brutally hard with some severe slopes and contours. A nice variety of holes. Have to plot your way around to take advantage of some slopes running into greens, sadly only realise this after the holes had been played 😂. Would happily play again.
Well kept course, not a single dry green!
It’s unique that it has 27 holes and you get to piece your round together based on the booking. Lots of water features, bunkers and bends make it a challenge and considering the hit spell we’ve just had, all the greens and fairways were immaculate!
I’ll be back!
